There were two things wrong with this movie when they made it. The biggest was having Jane Seymour play a tarot reader, i don't care how pretty she is, that casting decision made no sense at all. The other was the idea of having Sheriff Pepper in the boat chase scene, totally unnecessary.

Live and Let Die is definitely one of the best Bond movies. Roger Moore is still my favorite Agent 007. Jane Seymour was great and very beautiful as Solitaire. Yaphet Kotto (Parker from Alien), Julius Harris and Gloria Hendry were great as well.

The main theme performed by Paul McCartney and Wings was good too.

Yeah you kinda were right with the discription, not up to par with your usual stuff. It has some enteraining parts, but nost of it is slow and unexciting. Next time I guess.
