Although I admit, most of the commentators on MSNBC is more to the left, I would argue that they actually challenge their guests, they actually do News over on MSNBC. Fox News does softball interviews to try and make Palin look good and make republicans look good. CNN tries to be fair, but they fail. They call it 50/50 rather than right vs wrong. MSNBC calls you out when you are BSing.
Sure the day time news is fine but most people that watch the news come home around 4-5 and therefore they watch primetime. I haven't seen Keith Olbermann have any person with an opposite opinion on once. I have seen only a few times. Sure O Reilly is an asshole to his guests sure but at least people can determine he is being a douche to a legitimate point while hearing what the person's view is. I'm not saying FOX is fair at all, I'm saying you are wrong about the liberal counterweight point.

Chris Matthews would do so much more good for this country if he were actually in a political office. Sure, his show is easily the most [truthful] politically informative show on TV, but his presence in actual policy making would benefit us all. [Well, those of us that have "common sense", that is].
