Just sell the stuff that you get at the start of the game to creeper, take that money to the guy in the imperial shrine at wolverine hall and load up on ash yams and bloats, go steal the grandmasters calcinator and masters alembic from white haven in balmora (you'll go to jail, so be sure to drop the stuff before the guard arrests you), make fortify intelligence potions to get your intelligence up so that you're making potions just under 5000G, and sell away. Run-on sentence of my life.

Thank god someone else finally posted the alchemy method of playing this game. Alternatively, instead of going to balmora, you can stay in caldera and use the potions dude there (looooooots of water walking potions) the plus side of this is the creeper is there. Ups your alchemy and dumps you a load of gold. Then head to sadrith mora, imperial temple (one floor down from the mages guild) and up your int with Bloat and Netch Leather. You want the guy wearing red next to the alter.

on the pc version theres a glitch that 1 potion is about 15k each and if you got to lvl 100 alchemy thats about 15mil easy.

buy i think bloat and nech hide in balmora ... make increase intelligence potions untill you have like 30k then you can make pots that sell for 3k a piece and never fail.

though it ruined the game for me it is 100% not cheating and mentioned in books , you can make increase speed pots bscly like 20 pots beef speed for over 9000 pts/secs and stack it you can go everywhere in an instant

My strategy is killing Ordinators in Vivec and selling the armor to Creeper in Caldera. I had 42k gold after only like 5 dead ordinators! (I have Chrysamere, I'm lvl 1 and I can 1 hit ordinators, but not Imperial, Hlaalu, or Redoran guards lol)

@MetalBiwee just get a drain spell(like drain sneak) on self, go to a trainer, do the spell on self and just train. It doesn't cost much, depending to ur level, and the drain spell.

theres actually a better way. make fortify intellegence pots instead, and drink them after making them. make more, drink those, and so on. each time it will get stronger and stronger and pots will be better and better, until they are worth ridiculous amounts. sell those to the creeper. much easier.

u can train 1 gp apiece. just go to the mages guild, travel to sandriftmora. then go to "dirty muriels INN" or something like that. its right outside of the castle(sandrift) buy the spell the drains one of ur skills: "Drain Skill" spell. then make a spell, Drain Skill. any of em that u want to train. 100pts for 1 or 2 secs. dont matter wat ever u perfer. and remember to set it to "ON SELF!!" go to a trainer that trains that skill, cast spell and train for 1 GP a piece.

OMFG! much faster way: once u get off the boat (make sure u get the sign the Shadow so u can go invizzy) do ur stuff and go to balmora. once there go into the East or North gaurd tower. (one of them) anyway there should be sword called "sword of White woe" steal it, should be EZ with inviz. then do THIS method till u get 5k gold. STOP! now go to caldera, and go to the big house (not the INN i think) i forget its name. go upstirs and u see a scamp. sell him ur 5k -4- 5k. repeat then kill him

BTW. does any1 know the ingredients u need to make a "Drain Strength" & "Drain Int." potion. I only need the ingredients... and i'm using it to lvl up faster. u get a drain Int. potion (many rly) got to the mages guild. drink potion. ur int. becomes 0, u train ur conjuration for about 1coin. easy lvl up. it works i think. Just need potions, btw(i have like 900k at my disposal i can buy them to!, just gimme location) does this work anyway?

If you have a Pc and use the earlier version of morrowind. their is an easier way of getting lots of money, but that is if you dont know how the console works. It envolves killing a guy in vivec for this argonian enchanter. keep talking to him and you'll get 250 gold every time you talk to him. yes it goes on and on.

This is a really good guide. I found killing ordinators for their ebony maces and selling them was a good way of making money at a higher level. Never liked alchemy in Morrowind but it looks good. Ill try it now.

the best money making way in morrowing is to go to the armouror in mournhold and keep killing the high ordinator. then sell his gear for a hella of alot but the thing is the armour guy has 10k and good stuff to buy back if u have too much money pending on him. easy i make 300k in half an hourd

no offense to the guys strategy but there is a better one. get the potions but then go back to caldera and got to ghorak manor. there is a scamp there that will buy anything you have for the value it says it is (except in the case of bad condition weapons and armor)

Okay so, the scamp is in the ghorak manor in caldera, caldera is the place where u get the alchemy equipment, just leave the guild and look for the manor, just use the scamp as the seller instead of the other lady

or u could make about 50 intel potions..drink them make 50 more that are even stronger cuz ur itnel jsut boosted. drink them and reapeat like 10 times. you be making potions with massive effects and there all worth about 20-30k a pop bud.

Oh wow! Thanks! Normally my money method is effective but it takes a while.... I use a spell casting cvheat to get a lot of strength then go to the weapon smith Alusron in Vivec outside the Mages Guild in the Foreing Quarter, then ) kill the Ordinator in his shop and dispose of the corpse so it respawns, the sell his armour to the dude after repeatedly resting so that he keeps getting his gold back. It sucks because he only has 2500 gp, but theres another method similar in the Tribunal

you want to know another way?

anything that you have in quantity (arrows, potions, throwing knives, etc...)

you buy them in a huge pack (like if you want you can buy 300 arrows for a lot less than buying 1 by 1), and then you sell them 1 by 1.

depending on what you sell, you will have to repeat this a hell of a long time, but it really works. I got about 7000 just selling arrows. bepatient though
