I was recommended this by Blues and Soul mag when it came out in the 90s sometime , nice song , actually goes somewhere ,unlike alot of NuSoul stuff , whatever its called .
Thank you a zillion for posting this....takes me back to growing up in the UK and the London soul scene which is waaaay better than what was coming out of the mainstream US influenced airwaves...Nuff respect
I love Vivienne so so much - she was amazing live with her brother Ernie on bass - i was lucky enough to see her at the jazz cafe and subterrania - she was incredible.
There was such an amazing North London indie soul scene at the time - Boogie Back, Concsious and Nuff Tuff - all labels operating out of Muswell Hill along with Viv of course! - This has made me smile - thank you!
A Big thank you for posting this great track, I havn't heard this for 10 years or more, Greg Edwards used to play this on Jazz fm (London) Viv has a fantastic voice.
I truly, truly, truly love this song. For me its sheer class. Not many people will play this anymore, but I will. I have this single, and would never ever sell it.

A classic! I used to play this song on-air during my college radio days at K-G-R-M in Grambling! Good memories!

@maisiefelix saw her three times at the Jazz Cafe; an amazing talent.
That and I had just a teensy crush on her...
