@jdub7771 LOL that is a sign of a Master. But you are right there are not many masters that are accessible. T'ai Chi magazine (Wayfarer Publications) has great articles from modern day masters. But a physical teacher is needed, even if only a practice partner , to put the advice to practice. It is fantastic that modern technology is opening up the possibilities of making this inspiring art of Taijiquan finally accessible on a large scale, but train the basics first - like CZ "CST Prac Method"
he is adjusting where the power or force of the attacker is going. moving it from its intended target to where he wants it. its only a small part of the yin and yang or bagwa. it takes time to make it reactionary. this guy is a good teacher.
you can actually see his power emanating from his arms when he demonstrates a kind of "brush knee" movement without the student touching him at about 2:02 where he starts to internally becomes heavy and you see his arms slightly stretch but remain relaxed. what are others' thoughts on that?
i noticed this also, that is tai chi power. whole body movement sinking and stretching, expanding out ward. the trick is to be able to apply this jin spontaneously. you must have a very high skill level
What I wouldn't give to be part of this class.

Master Chen's explanations are clear and his demonstrations are practical and masterful. One of the best in contemporary Tai Chi to learn from!
