Nice footage!!!I would love to go there with My 919.Question is where did you get the shield?Who makes it>?I have been looking and cant find any the same size you have.
nice bike, how are the road manners from other cars when you're riding it? I ask because i live in anchorage and have been contemplating getting a bike, but i'm worried about all the excessively large vehicles that many alaskans like to drive
You have to watch out for everyone else because they aren't watching out for you! It's the same almost everwhere. What makes it bad up here is we only ride part of the year so people don't get used to watching for bikes
It's not too bad for a long ride but probably not as comforatable as a sport touring bike or a cruiser. It is an upright position with pegs slightly back. You can also get risers for this bike. The biggest downside for touring on a naked bike is wind blast. Other than that mine is comforatable. I also have an after market seat though.
I need your seat, I don't put a lot of long seat time on my 919, mainly use it in town. I have done a couple of 200-300 mile day trips and a major case of "monkey butt" was the result. Can't imagine doing that several days in a row!
It looks like it's a Givi windscreen, I have one on my 2002 and love it. it was on it when I bought the bike. Tried riding once without it and the wind realy beat me up!
loser why dont you scrape knee like i do on my 919

I know, and I left it obvious on purpose. This was also already commented on. It makes the video shorter. Thank you captain obvious ;-)

That music was from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! Cool bike too, I'm seriously thinking about getting one.

Nice bike. I am looking to get a windscreen for my 02 919. Would you recommend the one you have on your bike?

Givi is the brand. Do a google search and you'll find it. It was on the bike when I bought it so I don't know where it was purchased.

yup, it's a GIVI, it helps allot but it still doesn't compare to the stock windshields on bikes like the FZ1 etc...

Like Harleys and Buells but the Japanese bikes are more reliable especially if you were to drive across the USA.
