Ms. Sawa did a hat trick against Mexico in the Germany World Cup 2011, and a great goal against Sweden in the semi finals (Japan won 3-1). Should be a great game tonight in the finals Japan-US!

I was there, at the US/Canada game, and I was SO depressed that Hope didn't get in. She was warming up and cooling down with the rest of the team, so I don't think it was injury: I would have assumed Pia would have switched her out at half.

hope solo was at the usa vs. canada game today but coach pia just didn't sub her in.

yeah, i saw her name on the sub list. i was just wondering. i thought maybe she was hurt or something.

she had been sick so since it was just a friendly pia didn't make her play. but she still suited up and warmed up in case she was suddenly needed. she did say she wished she could catch a plane to dc and play vs the freedom and then fly back to rochester.
