Unlike "Christianity", Buddhism has no ultimatums, prejudice, bigotry, nor intollerance.
Buddhism is one of the most open minded religions in the world.

Without Jesus Christ, there is no forgiveness of sin, Christians believe. That is what Christianity teaches because that is what Jesus taught. Perhaps, this show was not the appropriate place to say that, but Brit Hume spoke essential Christian doctrine, and I assume he claims to be an adherent of that creed.

What is stupid about Brit Hume giving advice that he feels has helped him in his life. I'd argue that budism isn't doing Tiger much good judging by the state of things. There are millions that have had life changing experiences after giving there life to Jesus Christ. They have experienced freedom from all kinds of addictions and living hell. There is objective data to back up what Brit is getting at. Check out chemical dependency treatment with and without faith approaches.
