If you visit Sundance Channel's website look for the show "Taking the Hill" which was a reality show that followed Wexler around. He was this way even before it was popular. He's really brave. He has a new book out called "Fire Breathing Liberal" I believe and it seems like a good book from people I've heard who have read it.

Undoubtedly it would make us slightly more popular, and that is a good and needed thing. But it's no reason to impeach someone. There are plenty of GOOD reasons to impeach, but the ones given here are not among them in my opinion.

Agreed. Congressman Wexler's argument makes obvious sense if he is clear with intent to show the world (i.e. France, Sunnis/Shiites) that the U.S. is capable of righting its wrongs, that being the decisions of an executive branch run amok, and the unwillingness of a legistrative branch to hold the administration accountable.

The term "popular" is such an unwise choice of words, if only he had used words like "reliable" or indeed "accountable" his speech would have been so much more poignant.

But he's right, the world is waiting for the US to become accountable again... and with accountability comes respect.

And seriously, if the US wants to be respected again, there is an urgent need for impeachment, even if it comes a few years too late.
