My name is Neda, and I am proud to have that name especially after seeing the documentary on Neda Agha Soltan. It made me cry, how amazing she was, and what she was standing for, exactly what I stand for in my personal life.Seeing the videos and Iranian people in green(my fav colour) of peace demanding freedom was very touching for me, and im not even Iranian, but I can feel your pain.

I truly am Neda :) and everything that that name stands for !

For your information, during the years 1953-1979 when the Shah was in power, he was a client of the United States. (Look up the term "client state.") In fact, the CIA was responsible for organizing a military coup with corrupt generals that overthrew Iran's democratic government and reinstalled the Shah to power in 1953. That's why they hate us.
