  • very nice guitar you made. You ought to be a rep for SAGA.

  • id like the paint job link also, pleasee. and thank youu. :D

  • Beautiful finish. Did you do it yourself?

  • Did that kit come with the binding? or did you have to buy that and rout the channel?

  • can you send me the instructions or link for the paint job please

  • thats madd nice

  • what is wrong with the stock nut so i can fix it when i buy my kit

  • there's actually nothing wrong with it. I just got a little over-zealous with my nut slot files and filed one down to low. At that point the only option is to get a new one! Don't make the same mistake I did

  • did u replace the pickups or anything from the original ones

  • Nope, the pickups are original. The only thing I changed on the guitar were the tuners and the nut

  • hi im probly gonna buy one of these. could you tell me how you did the paint job. i love vintage sunburst and i really would like to put it on the guitar if i got it. oh and how does it play?

  • Is there anywhere site that clearly explains how you got that paint job?!

  • can you send me the paint job link too? please

  • Yep, check your messages

  • @crowdermusic Can you send me the paint job link too Please!? :D I would love it..I made a Les Paul from scratch and wanted a Sunburst finish, Looks like you nailed it for me :D

  • What is the neck like, it looks like a pretty good one.

Oh and are you using the stock pickups that came with it?

  • The neck is pretty good from what I recall. A friend has been borrowing it for a while. It does have a very high radius though so the fretboard feels really flat, but nothing too insane. And yes they are the stock pickups

  • How did you made the tobacco burst ?

  • Hey bud, fantastic paint job. Extremely impressive guitar. Would you mind sending me the link as to how you did it as well? I plan on buying either the same kit as you and upgrading it later or starting from scratch. So I need a little help with the painting =P Thx, and once again great job.

  • how did u do the paint as it looks really like a pro has done it .nice vid

  • I'll message you the link as well, and thank!

  • Can I get some pictures on how you did it also? I wanna buy me a kit and put a silverburst on it.

  • Yep, I'll message you the link

  • Hey please can you msg me the link I am tempted to purchase one but not sure what they play like

  • awsome paint job man i seen other your's the best how long did it take to build and how much was the les paul

    great video 5/5

  • its like 200 dollars. its just a DIY les paul. not really a gibson.

  • i know that by the finger board

  • yeah

  • was making the sunburst any trouble. i want to make my ST-10 a sunburst but it sounds challenging

  • It wasn't too hard. I messaged you a link to some pictures of how I did it

  • i checked out that link you sent me. it looks like it could be helpful to the steps for finishing sunburst. thanks

    nice playing btw

  • Hey, could you message me those pics as well. I`m considering getting one of these kits and a sunburst color is what I`m going for =)

    Thanks!

  • i would also like a copy of the pictures please. i'm hoping to get a kit soon and want a burst paint-job but don't know how to go about getting a good looking one.

  • did u make that guitar... im thinking of bying a saga lc10 kit to build with my dad for fun...

  • sure did man. they are a lot of fun to put together

  • Great job! I saw your guitar at guitar attack, "Saga Sagas". Your other projects look great too. My experience w/ chrome pups having noise is they may not be wax potted, makesure you are grounded to bridge.

  • those pickups scream real bad when you take your fingers off the strings

  • yeah i know. i'm kinda bummed about that. the whole wiring set-up is pretty poor. If i played the guitar more, I'd probably upgrade the wiring and pickups to remedy that

  • Could try a good noise gate

  • Also if you could tell me what size they are.

  • they are full size

  • Do the pickup chrome covers have screws shown above them?

I want to know if they do so I can buy the right gold covers

  • yes, they have the screws on the pickups. I'm not sure what size they are, but they seem to be the same as on say an Epi Les Paul

  • are these tonerider pickups also?

  • nope. these ones are stock

  • Alright, Thanks for the info.

  • how did you get the sunburst on the guitar, when i bought my saga lc10 i couldnt stain it i had to paint it.

  • i didn't stain it. i actually used tinted lacquers, so they were semi-transparent and gave that stained look. pretty much just did a light sanding on the body, and then sprayed the yellow-amber color. you can still see the nice flaming on the top

  • you have to sand the guitars alot, they have this protective stuff on it, you'll be able to stain it afterwards

  • i know the seal killed me. i wanted to do a sunburst but wanted it done as quickly as possible so i just painted it.

  • lol nice, My friend and I got the same kit as a joke? friendly guesture? whatever you call it, his tuned out better because he used tinted gloss(desert burst, looked sick),, my sanding ruined the top a bit...:\

  • Are you Andy woods from telecaster forums? If i'm correct, i read up on you making this guitar, and it was just friggen awesome!

  • sure am, thanks!

  • Awesomeness. Do you have MSN/AIM/Yahoo so we could possibly have a bit of a chat about this?

  • awesome, I was thinking of getting TC-10 and now I know I am..... are the parts stock with the kit or did you upgrade anything.....?

  • so far all I've upgraded are the tuners, and the nut. You wouldn't have to replace the nut, but I accidentally cut mine down too low and it was buzzing. It's always nice to upgrade the tuners though

  • How did you manage to get that beautiful color?

  • Well, I finished it using some tinted aerosol lacquers from Stew-Mac. They were super easy to work with.

  • sounds awesome

  • thanks!

  • Hey man pretty good, but you need to work on everything, maybe get rid of your head.

  • eh, thanks Alex. i cut my head out of the video so that no on would have to see the "guitar face"
