OK, a little middle eastern culture lesson. The parents do not FORCE people to marry; however, it is not only accepted but expected that a girl marry this young. Women in middle eastern rural society are not allowed to live without a male, and this is the way by which they have their "male protector" without having to depend on family. If the husband dies, the woman has to either remarry or move in with a male family member. Just throwing some knowledge on yas! :)
