deff not a single coil hum for sure.i had the same exact noise come from a sd sh8 pick up(humbucker) that i bought brand new and the pick up was bad.but yours does it on all pick ups, first thing try different guitar, cables, plug the amp in a diff outlet yadda yadda and if you still have a noise i would check wiring and see if the bridge is grounded.you could buy a loaded pick guard with better pick ups for a strat
@DMSProduktions I'm well aware they are single coils, I have played and owned other single coil guitars. This type of hum is much louder and much more obnoxious. Yeah I'm thinking the same thing, its probably bad grounding or a cold solder joint. And yes while it may be only a $200 guitar, it is a BRAND NEW guitar, this is how it came out of the box. If this happened after a year of playing it I would understand and wouldn't be upset.
@newclearwaste Still, its minor for the amount of guitar you GET for that sort of $! Still, youre right, it SHOULD be wired properly. Just take the scratch plate off and check all the wiring and solder joints.

You do know that with guitars you need to be touching the strings in order to stop the buzz. They have a thing called a string ground.

2 Things:
1 they ARE single coils and singles WILL buzz, but usually under gain.
2 poor earthing is the most likely culprit.
Come on its a $200 guitar. its NOT gonna be perfect all the time!
Simple solder job and it should be fine!
Still nice guitars!

That sucks! And i was thinking its a good guitar
have you tried to check it with other PL Cable?
TeleOfir 7 months ago
@TeleOfir yeah this is the cable that I use with all my other guitars and it works fine. I'm pretty sure they didn't ground the guitar properly
