Sorry if i'm being a bit pedantic here but your first fact isn't really true. St. Patrick lived in the 5th century which was at least a century (if not more) before the Anglo-Saxons began arriving in Britain. He couldn't really have been an Englishman because the English didn't exist yet! He was probably a member of the Brittonic tribes, the forerunners of the modern Welsh.
