  • Awsome! Nice shots.

  • I want to dive their ASAP love your video real class

  • who is the singer of the second song and how can i get this song? it's awesome!

  • seriously great music!!!hahaahahaha

  • Look towards the left side. nice rock formation at 2:06. i can see a human face. what do you thing?

  • nice... but.. but... isnt this place spreading apart? an earthquake can happen at any time. be careful guys!

  • wow that is wonderful place to freedive

  • That divesite looks otherworldly

  • Nice vid, but what have we done to let us here such a gruesome noise...

  • beautiful vid but shut the fucking musi´c of !!!!!

  • beautiful water and divesite, but split fins are a massive hoax, no good can come from having a hole in the middle of ur fins

  • very beautyful divesite

  • Great vid, i cant believe how clear the water is!

    Must've been chilly though.

  • what's the name of the song/musician/album for the first song? takk fyrir!

  • aaaaarrrgh !!

Sorry ,I am just allergical to split fins !

split fins are the biggest con in the history of diving !!!

  • 100% agree with you.

Here, in Mediterranée, there are many people who have these Twin Jet fins, and I eared that from the day you test them, you buy them

    :)

But I keept my Cressi Gara 3000 :)

  • agree with you - split fins are ok for scuba but they like you prefer my Garas

  • the girl singin has a nice voice

  • Im cold just watchin BRRRRRR.

  • tanks for the advice but I´m not the free diver I´m the filmmaker

  • Beautiful video, love the first song. Your diving spot is absolutely beautiful, I'd love to dive there one day. Just as a friendly advice, try adding some weights next time, you seem to be very buyonant, and have to struggle to get down. And those fins really do not look like they're really optimal for that kind of use.

  • Are you from Iceland? If you do you will understand that: Í hvaða hverfi bírðu??

  • No i'm not from iceland, and i dont understand. Since you do, you could translate that for me.

  • It means: "what neibourhood do you live in?"

Sorry how curius I am :S

  • absolutely beatiful.

that beats norcal diving visibility wise.

    good stuff

  • OMG the vis is nice. Great video. As far as comments about "freediving skills", ignore them as you would. Small penis syndrome perhaps. Cheers

  • Why the HECK are you freediving with those fins? No wonder you couldn't swim down...

  • Nice video, poor freediving skils, Iliked the first song. Over all good video.

  • 2.3c! RESPECT! How thick were your suits? Maybe you've said in the interview - but I don't have your language. Visibility is stunning (coldness I guess). So bad here in Irl that at times you'd bump your nose on the floor before realising you were there! Not quite as bad as "Dark day in Donegal" video - but not far off it either! Our normal viz is like what you'd see in "Spear Dive"

  • And the album name is Tónmilda Ísland

  • The track #1 is Kvæðið um fuglana (Song abute the birds) and the track #2 is Húfan

  • many thanks thorvaldurh and valdikafari, best wishes!

  • aahhh...i wud luv to swim like that in a place like this! O_o

  • I'm interesting about the soundtrack in the last 3 minutes

  • that's like tahoe visibility

  • great video, water looks amazing must of been fantastic. any chance of letting me know the artist of the second track used i would love to get hold of a copy?!

  • The artist is Gudjon Rudolf. The song's called Húfan. And the song is from his album, "Minimania" (2003).

  • omg, I have to laugh while I see those diving fins used for freediving, it takes quite effort to kick it down there and makes dive short......why don't you use freedive fins ? We dive under ice too, see it in video gallery of Slovakia Freedive Team....

  • the water is 2,3°c and the air was -5°c + wind

  • I wants t' go too!!!

  • Probably 38 degrees Kelvin! haha

  • too cold!!!

  • 38 degrees what? I assume you don't mean 38 degree celcius?

Looks like an awsome experience... wish it was me...

PS. Icelandic is sure a beautyful language, but can be a bit hard to understand... A written explanation in English under the video would ad value.

  • I went diving there in 2004, and I'd say the water was about 38 degrees. We used dry suits that were probably about 3/8 inch thick. The fresh water is so clear it is like air, and if you do it carefully, you can drink the water while you are diving.

  • nice water, what is the temperature of the water? how thick are your wetsuits??
