There is photographic evidence of him hugging Ash and cast and cutting a cake with Ash. Do you believe every media story?!
P2, competition with each other. Yes this business is a competition but their friendship didn't interfere with that. THS made Topher into this ass that was far from true. Yes he was more friendly with Wilmer, Kurtwood, and Laura but he was more friendly with Ashton than he was with Danny tbh. Sadly Topher and Ashton were not friends the last few years, of the show. Topher didnt like him, and thats why he was the only on the show that didnt get Punk'D. Topher has like 4 movies coming out between 2010 and 11. Its sad because they seemed like good friends at this point.

I guess since they're both actors they could just be acting like they get along.. but I don't sense any tension and they have friendly body language towards each other.. I mean how many times does Ashton tap Topher on the leg? And they both seem to just have a deadpan sort of humour in this interview... so I'd like to believe they are friends :)

all these rumors about ashton and topher not getting along are really annoying! i am not going to believe anything unless i hear them say it. besides, it's a fact of life that you are not going to be best friends with everyone you meet. ashton and topher might have had some tension, and if they did, they probably did their best to work things out and be ok with each other, since they had to work with each other.

i didnt notice any tence-ness for the most part.

this topher/ashton thing is getting blown way out of proportion.yes, there is some obvious tension, but saying that ashton and topher hated each other is going a bit far.
topher wasn't as close with everyone as the rest of them were, but i'm pretty sure everyone got along. they all seem to be friends. sure, ashton definitely isn't as close with topher as he is with wilmer and danny, but they seem fine.
and ashton didn't punk topher because he asked him not to. not because he didnt like him.

Let me clarify things up a bit.
Topher has always had attitude. Since he thought he was a big deal in "That 70s Show"...
Ashton was the secondary silly/goofy character. which eventually got the spot light. If you watch the E! about that 70's show you'll hear that Topher didnt even have the courtesy to show COMPLETELY on the last day on set.
They're both ok guys. But I'll have to give props to Ashton.

I've seen the clip which topher and the actor who acted Red talking and smiling behind the scene while they were shooting other casts.
Thus I think all the That 70s show cast are like family. The actress who acted Kitty once said that this whole casts are not second family for her. It's like one and a half family for her.

And regarding topher being jealous of Ashton... I would be too and mad as hell, seeing how real talent doesn't mean anything. All you have to do to get lots of movie roles is to date someone famous... plus give me topher movies like P.S. and Traffic over Dude, where's my car and The butterfly effect anyday. So if he is jealous, I totally understand. Or maybe it is "the cabala crap"...;)
