  • great!!

  • Oh my god this man is very very good. hahaha

  • OMG! ONE-Handed Guitar!!

  • oh , what , i cant believe in my eyes .

    so wonderful ,

    :)))

  • BRAVO, BRAVO BRAVO for the GUITARIST OF Biên Nho (near the end of the video)

  • BIET LA KHONG NHUNG EM VAN MUON NOI EM SE TANG ANH DOI TAY CUA MINH NEU ANH CAN DUNG DEN NO

  • for thousands of years of war fare our people made up these songs so express their feelings of sadness. Now thousands of years later white people sing them for us to listen. Priceless

  • thanks for sharing. It's interesting to see nhac Trinh Cong Son affects a foreigner (american) that much. I love nhac Trinh Cong Son.

  • I like him....I like Trinh music since I was young

  • MrBeautifullife hates white men so much because his mom was raped by white men

  • respect yourself. Stop kissing white man's ass.

  • @MrBeautifulLife Ur life would be beautiful if u could at least see beyond skin color. Do u also hate people like Martin Luther King? Obtuse n biased judgment doesn't do anyone any good. Stop feeding on hatred. It's a disease. U have no right to insult him; u know nothing about him. He tries to spread understanding and to make the world a better place for others not only for himself. He also met and talked to Trịnh Công Sơn. What are u to shoot ur mouth off about him?

  • @MrBeautifulLife U criticize a white (or black/whatever race) person singing TCS's songs, but u don't seem to understand anything in TCS's compositions and just sound like another ignorant, sad, hating racist.

  • I do not dislike this Fuller. Why should I ? I just hate the way Vietnamese people worship white people even when in fact these whites do not deserve it. How many times I have to say this in order for you low life Vietnamese people to understand? Johny Tri Ng is just a joker. Just like the "famous" Ly Nha Ky appearing in a Holywood movie (for two seconds) recently.

  • @MrBeautifulLife We worship white? You got racist problem nigga coz they treat us equally.

  • @MrBeautifulLife We worship white? You got racist problem nigga coz they treat us equally. or u still think about the damn stupid war created by our ancestor and then blame on White ppl create that

  • ong nay hat rat hay the. minh rat tu hao co nguoi cac ban o tren the gioi hat nhac cua minh.

  • It's great to see how he can sing it with such emotion!!! Who cares if he is American or not, he is truly a great performer!!!

  • this Fuller just like Johny Tri Nguyen, NgoThanhVan, Jennifer Pham among many other losers who could not make it in America or Europe. In America nobody knows who these people are and they probably cannot even find a steady job. That is the true reason why they go to VietNam.

  • @MrBeautifulLife you don't like him but he don't even know you, what do you get out of this? and while most people think he's singing is good, you think it's bad, so why do you bother complaining so much? why does he have to leave Viet Nam? Johnny Tri was actually in some big name American movies like Rush Hour. lol. dude seriously get a life, this man has more talent than you can ever dream of.

  • this Fuller really destroyed TCS songs. And these people here are "admiring" him? Give me a break. Stop worshiping the white man. I mean we should give credit when it dues but be proud of your race and heritage. Yes, definitely he has the right to kill TCS songs... by singing them. Get it? God bless all you guys and have a nice day.

  • Great!!!

To Mr.beautifullife: he's an american who love tcs'songs, and spends almost his whole life to translate them. he deserves respect

Can u sing any eng song?as well as him....I guess not ..'cause u r just a piece of shitt...so shut the fuk offff

  • thầy này dạy trg em :D SIC

  • OMG! beautiful performance. I believe he did express the soul of the song..... very suprise......

  • great!!! well done,!

  • I'm vietnamese. I like him, Richard Fuller. And i think. who really are vietnamese true, they will like you, dear you. Thanks you for your love with VN

  • @MrBeautifulLife fucktard, go fuck yourself.

  • Great !!!

  • Thank you for expressing your opinion about me.

  • @MrBeautifulLife he worked as a volunteer in the International Volunteer Services in 1969 DURING THE WAR!! SO FUCK OFF!!!!!!!!!!

  • Somebody should change his nickname to MrUglyLife, I think that exactly what all of his comment about, what a negative person, never know how to appreciate the others efforts... It makes me wonder " does he really understand the meaning in Trinh Cong Son' songs. Maybe he understand some of the words but not more than Rich Fuller

  • very impressive! ..i like Trinhs too especially the first one you played(its one of his best songs) ..keep it up and i wish u the best luck.

  • have u ever try to sing a german or chinese song ? first at all ,we should say thanks to him , 'no body perfect ".

  • I have nothing against Fuller. But honestly he's destroying TCS's songs. There is no spirit in his singing. He could not breath life to the songs. He could not express the real meaning of those songs. He basically just recited the lyrics mechanically. And those vietnamese are admiring him? That's what I don't get it. Any vietnamese can do better than him.

  • that has nothin with destroyin TCS's song u should be happy cus there's a white guy who know and love vietnamese songs if TCS know this he would be happy too...dam!! Mr...OPEN YOUR HEART!!

  • no....who gives a fuck if this old white guy truly understand TCS music. fuck off

  • @khoihq wtf is wrong with u?

  • Then why don't you just shut up, Mr.Stupid-Ugly-Not-Worthy-Life. Sorry, I don't know if you're blind or you're deaf, if so, I'm sorry for that. But I think more of craziness in you, mostly own selfish, ugly and pitiful stupid. I'm really disappointed that Vietnam has you as a citizen. Now I understand why Vietnam still has not developed because there's still a kind like you, who doesn't open your eyes, just blindly comment without concerning the rightful view. You're just a hopeless guy.

  • Actually this Fuller is not that great. He stayed in vietnam since 1962 or some time around there. But he still cannot speak vietnamese fluently. Yes, he can converse in Vietnamese but not to the level expected by someone staying there such a long time.

  • @MrBeautifulLife agree, totally kills the beauty of TCS's music. However, we have to give him credit for performing, since TCS's songs are generally hard to sing. Cheer, TCS will live in us forever!

  • In short there is nothing special about learning another language and culture.

  • That host is vietnamese too. Her English is just like American native. Does that make her special? I would not think so either. I understand she either was born in Louisiana or came when she was little.

  • he's just a normal man. Brilliant? I am not sure about that. What's amazing about learning another language and singing the same? Just because he's a white man singing vietnamese then he's special?

  • @MrBeautifulLife Câm cái mồm chó mày lại cho tao! thằng súc vật như mày thì biết gì mà bày đặt to mồm?

  • OMG! he's so good, sings unbelievably well, and with a northern accent too.

  • Bravo, Vietnamese welcome all friends

  • Bravo Bravo Bravo

  • Thanks

  • I'm very moved when listening he sing Noi vong tay lon.

  • Thanks

  • Thanks Richard

  • VERY NICE RICHARD.... (larry here)

  • Thank you Richard! A good friend of Vietnam!

You make me love my country very much...

  • wow respect...

  • Great man all I can say to you Mr. Fuller

  • quel belle chanson !! pour un non viet il chante vraiment bien 20/20 merci anh hanoidvd ^^'

  • Richard Fuller is Great man

  • What do you to fight for? The majority of Vietnamese ppl are happy now in Vietnam and many Vietnamese living in US are starting to visit motherland more often. If you can, ask for their own experience. And one more thing just in case you have not known, VN is now not quite a communist country. I think it is now a mix of capitalism and communism.

  • I thought VC hates American, Why Vietnamese(VC) r making a big deal about some foreign dude that love Vietnamese music?? American dont make a big deal about Vietnamese love American music. What a bad skit by the VC, lol

  • What do you mean by (VC) Viet Cong ?!?!

Trinh Cong Son was not Viet Cong. He was just a man of intelligence and humanity... He was just anti-War. And it's not because you are anti war that you are VC. Anti War means just that you are a human juste a little more smart that a rat (like G. W. Bush and his gang)

  • I guess you are brainwashed by your parents who

probably lost everything after the war. You may never understood fully what you are whining. War is never good. The past is the past. Let it go, dude.

  • I am Vietnamese, raising and living in Vietnam, studying abroad and Internet skills allow me to know the naked truth from both sides for both glory and tragedy . Regardless of all that, I am still thankful to live in an unified Vietnam where people concern about making money instead of about bombs, army draft and casualty of war

Vietnam war was such an awful memory but Sometimes, we have to be less selfish, see a big picture and be a bigger person.

  • I am thankful, too, the fact that Vietnam is now unified. That is perhaps the best thing the communist party bought to the Vietnameses. At least we are not like the Koreas now. I never mean to see war again on fatherland. I hope all the Vietnamese have same opportunity and vision as yours. Do you know why people only concern about making money? Is it a good thing? - I think there are other facts about life: political life, rights, freedom and history, too. The Vietnamese people deserve those.

  • (sorry for my late reply)

For the lack of my English "Making money" is the most practical term to improve Vietnam social and international status. Like "có thực mới vực được đạo". The more money Vietnamese people earn ,the more source we use to develop the country, the more education the people can get, the more democracy and social Fairness being attained gradually .

  • @vi1na2 , Everything happens for a a reason! You are here because of your parents. By saying someone being brainwashed by his/her parents, you are betraying your parents and what you are. Of course, War is never good because people die during the war, killing each other, but it may be for the better reason, the better future. I can say 1 thing for sure that COMMUNISM is NEVER a good thing for the people. You think you know everything, but you don't.

  • @bladelee36

Some people are brainwashed, some are not if they are willing to go out and search fro the correct information. How do you know if the war was the better reason? How much do you know about Communism? List a few things you know about it, please.

  • @vi1na2 _ You're right. Let the past go. But I think many Vietnamese living abroad don't care about the past as much as the present of Vietnam. That's why they are so angry with Viet Cong

  • @sinaimountain I think it is the physiological affect of the part generation which lost everything in the war as mentioned in my previous comment. Although most of them successfully focused on building their lives and their loved ones' in US, a small group just keep dwelling on the past and try to pass their anger to the next generation which seem to me not very successfully. Well, the rule of thumb is: "You can not please everyone".

  • Chuyen binh thuong ban a! Vietnamese people are kind of extremely open-minded. In oversea, we had Trish Thuy Trang who sings both Viet and English songs, but khong biet noi tieng Viet. we used to promote Dalena who sings mostly in Vietnamese. I've really felt happy to know non-Vietnamese people enjoying Viet music.

  • wow

  • Anyone who claims to love TCS's songs but doesn't praise Ha Trang hasn't really seen all the beauties in his music! I can say this without hesitation and fear of objection. Once you have heard it performed by Khanh Ly (in one of Asia's videos, with music arrangement by Truc Ho) you will agree with me. When I listen to other songs by TCS I can understand their meanings but with Ha Trang the best I can do is only feel it without any proper understanding, even after thousands of times! Magical!

  • Wow, with respect!

  • The translation of Noi Vong Tay Lon (Great Circle of Vietnam) is very touching and near perfect: the spirit is well preserved and the meaning is close to original. I think this is the most successful translation done by Richard Fuller. No surprise he didn't choose for fell in love with Ha Trang. To me, this is the most beautiful song by TCS for its melodic and lyrical beauties. The beauty of the song is beyond its melody and lyrics. It's kind of magical and has a healing effect to a chaotic mind

  • much respects to richard fuller

And many American people too. TCS will forever live in our soul and belong to the heritage of our country. Thank you, Mr Fuller, sincerely.
