@fortysevenprops lol, I went through a phase when I was too shy to narrate my own videos because I thought my voice sounded funny. So I tried using the robot voice for this video. I later realized this sounded much stranger than any sound I could make with my voice.
Almost looks like an AIM-9B with the blunt nose and canards almost triangular but the rest is almost scary with the HE yellow bands and propellant brown bands, and the size/length/diameter seems to be about accurate. A little change in the canard shape, tapering of the nose and a small lens with light inside would update it to look just like an AIM-9E and beyond but of course the white would change to a gray/blue and even olive for newer models. Worked AIM-9's in the AF, have to build one now!
Right, we made some adjustments to the dimensions to make it easier to cut out the pieces. The nose cone is a part that works great as a lamp and is also widely available at Home Depot stores.
