the revelation of the surat basically belongs to the time when Islam was in its first stages of becimg widespread, at the time when Pagans were so hostile to muslims that they would not show any mercy to muslims and basically slaughter muslims... that is why Quaran instructs muslims to basically take care of themselve...apparentlyif you don't prevent the killing, you will get killed, that's for sure!

you were brought up in a european view and wasn't taught the truth of the bible. that is why you couldn't do what is required in 1 peter 3:15. you were taught pagan holidays that xmas in on dec 25, that jesus was white , not taught about the loss tribes, that the arabs and jew were of the same father and that is why you see the similar themes in the koran and bible.

My Christian friends when they know about my religion, they jokingly say "so do you like hate me because I am a Christian?" It's not too hard to let a christian realise all those things he mentions are false, because all religion is false, in my opinion. Religion is a concept of believes based on culture. I'm not suprised that a christian is converted to Islam instead of a Muslim converted to Christianity because Muslims hardly critise the believes of their religion. Combine those two and you get a clip like this.
