  • Where did you get those? Those are badass.

  • My buddy from Iran is really good at these, they actually have a competition in Germany. Crazy.

  • Flinstone bells.

  • just buy kettlebell, its the same, but better

  • Elliot, a lot of the guys at WSBB use these frequently for different shoulder health exercises. Louie has some articles on them. Check them out.

  • I did a workshop in these not so long ago and they are tough...they really fuck with your ego :)

  • try to go into the fighting stance and swing to hit the person

  • everybody's a critic.

  • You should use a lower weighted clubbell (bells) get your form together and the mechanics of how the clubbell works... Check out Scott Sonnon's stuff, or something by Gymnos Evolution (on the web). he has two really good programs you can down load that can really make a difference in your clubbell routine.... Best of luck, you're looking good!

  • This looks like a hardcore workout for functional strength, balance, agility and core strength! cool stuff man

  • used them to practice (hockey.golf, tennis)etc other sport who a good swing (baseball swing)

  • delt and forearm workout galore

  • go to ' old time strongman '. he is into club swinging and has a few books. maybe some advice since he's a fellow strength trainer.

  • I bet you could do something like that with Sledge Hammers.

Where do you buy the club bells?

  • @RENCROWN In the video it says a friend bought them, try just google'ing clubbells.

  • Lol @ first move. I HAVE THE POOOOOOWER!!! HE-MAN!

  • How would you rate these compared to the humble kettlebell?

  • You should look at Okinawa karate weight training, they'll be some great tips there

  • Traditional Indian Club Training Traditional Indian Club Training The swinging of "jori and gada" (heavy indian clubs and maces) holds a special place in the ancient art of Kushti - (Traditional Indian Wrestling and Physical Culture Training.) In the akharas (wrestling gyms) these traditional implements are decorated in many unique ways. Some are painted with lively decorative patterns, others, used only by the most skilled masters, are studded with nails. Some of these decorative indian clu

  • you can choke up on the club hold if your worry about the wobbling & work back to normal grip but you probably already know that, just thought I help out if ya didn't know. great channel, very good info & energy :)

  • That looks really neat, show some more.

  • Watch some videos of palwans ( wrestlers) of Pakistan and India they have been using them for ages....

  • These are so awesome..arguably the best thing for baseball players when dealing with upper body...its great

  • Yo elliot how much you weighing now a days, im 220 and do alot of strength and football type workouts myself and love them!, you just lookin really built now, keep up the good work!!!.

  • Ive seen you lift hundreds of pounds over your head, but it looks like you were really struggling with that bat. How heavy is it?

  • @pranklover11 45 lbs... its really not the weight thats challenging, its the leverage.

  • @strengthcamp I'm hovering around 205 now... down 50 lbs since last year

  • @strengthcamp you look like you weigh more. how tall are you?

  • @slimjamie1991 i think he's like 5'7-5'9 or something

  • @strengthcamp wow, congrats. How did you lose a big 50 lbs?! And if you don't mind me asking, what is your height and frame type?

  • they look like juggling clubs....

  • Imagine getting hit on the head by one of those

  • These things are very popular in middle eastern countries. They were invented in India or Persia I believe.

  • Soon you'll be able to hold 2 barbells ( 1each hand) at one ends - the other ends loaded with plates. One swing is enough to take down a tank.

    Talk about human weapon....

  • Ok heres a tip go and find a samurai clip of when there cutting straight down top to bottom and repeat it 10 or 12 times focus on swing down hard .But stop the club once it's held straight out from your body at chest height ...that should give you a good burn .

  • seems like you're on an indefinite bulk. You ever gonna cut? Or do you just care about functional strength?

  • @L07EK this is about as cut as i get... i'm not a bodybuilder.

  • @strengthcamp you should try to compete in bodybuilding....that would be new and exciting lol

  • @L07EK This guy is cut!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @iluvpackersn4 not calling him fat, but hes definitely not cut. hes probably around 16% bf

  • @L07EK he's lean as fuck for a strength athlete. wtf?

  • @L07EK

I think Elliot's between 10 and 15% bodyfat, which is not ripped, but it's perfectly, naturally, healthy. He's still more ripped than 95% of the US population.

  • @SinisterSkip Definitely not 15%, I'd say more 11-12% ish, but your right even at 15% he would be leaner than 95% of the US pop. which is a shame.

  • Oh Shit!!! Elliott went old-school!!!!

  • yo elliot. I have been training with these things for awhile. They are awesome.

keep those elbows at your sides to maintain structure when you are swinging them from your sides to a 90 degree angle in front of you. other than that your movements looked solid.

its wild how quickly adapt to these things... pretty soon all those movements will be as smooth as butter.

  • Also, the ones you show first, could be "upgraded" to figures of eight, with the same pause in front (I mean circle left, hold, circle right, hold

, etc. then change grip, and go again...

Another (I've seen something similar in a video swhere): Lower it behind your back, than pull it to the front (over your shoulder)t, like you would pull a sword that's attached to your back. Could combine that with squats too.

  • Could do a swing, and a squat, while holding it (them) out front...

  • this is what they use in india

  • Clubs (Juri clubs) and Mace's (called gada) are favorites of Indian wrestlers. A great training tool for athleticism. If you want to see a dude thats a pnenom at these things check out Kenny Theissen on youtube (his channel is kenny1968) or look him up on facebook

  • just dont drop them on your feet....if youve ever dropped a weight plate on your toes youll know what im talking about!

  • The gym I train at has just got a set of these....at least i know what to do with them now!

  • You should try the kind of club rotations Louis Simmons do: youtube[DOT]com/watch?v=hcPjZCkCEbg Been thinking of getting clubs since i saw his video

  • roids...:( sad

  • @MrSinnerstefan lol you think that he takes steriods? he is a all natural bodybuilder if you haven't known...

  • @silentwatcher2323 First of all he isnt a bodybuilder, and second of all he in one video did admit to using such things as steroids, indirectly, i believe, but he does not now

  • @sourcecode123 this is true guys... about 2 years ago i experimented with steroids (you can see the old videos) but i did not like the person that it turned me into, i really was not my full potential in all areas (but i could lift some heavy shit!) I am currently NOT on steroids, nor do I ever intend to use it again. I hope my honesty about the experience will support other guys in their decisions to use it or not.

  • Maxwell!

  • Those look great for grip strength exercises

  • baseball bat on steroids

  • Can i come over to your house when the zombie apocalypse happens?

  • Imagine how strong your forearm is gonna be after a workout with these clubs...!

  • +1 Scott Sonnon. Also Paul Chek does some stuff with them.

  • Scott sonnen has an amazing club bell workout set. Check it out.

  • How much do those weigh?

  • on the last exercise, the bottoms up press part, you should keep your neck packed more and less hyper extended. Chin tucked, face back.Your lumbar spine will follow and you will get better core engagement. You can follow your press with the eyes.

Look up Charlee Wiengroff, Packing the neck

    just a suggestion.

    How heavy are those suckers?

  • You look like you got skinnier

  • bro these are used in my country (iran) for old skool excersizes

youtube "zoor khooneh" and ull see some pretty cool stuff they do!

  • @shahroozare actualli google it , theres not much on youtibe lol

  • nice work! whats the name of the beat playing?

  • @whosthatafghan death to my enemies - 50 cent

  • Have you seen Scott Sonnon? thermaxgym is his YT username.

He is training at a high level with these. Sweet stuff!

  • you looking big you should go into a bodybuilding contest..

  • One quick tip: Clubbells are micro-adjustable. For the movements that give you the most trouble (like the leverage holds), simply choke up on the grip. You'll get more benefit out of the movements if you do them with control. As you improve, you can work your way back down towards the knob. Have fun!

  • great exercise for boxers, golfers, baseball players and ufc.

  • Get used to long bouts of swings and swipes. The shoulders will get a break from the force and loads they bear in most resistance. 'The backstroke' .....I know check my man John Sifferman and the 4x7 the Scott Sonnon did a couple of years back. I have an instructional dvd but mostly try to learn from seeing peoples' skills online . Also Okinawan Kenpo 'Tan Ren' training has a similar tool.

  • Have you droped one of them on yourself yet ? ;P

  • elliot looks like he can be the third Hodgetwin

  • SWING THAT CLUB!

  • Try juggling them :-)

  • @PapaD93 In all seriousness, actually juggling them will get you mad hench!

  • How much do them things weigh?

  • @Phatfarm1980 172.5 pounds each

  • @whosnexttt what? no way

  • @Phatfarm1980 heavy one is 45lbs... the smaller ones about 20lbs each.

  • Clubba Lang, my man!!

  • Clubbells are HARD! You are making it look easy, nice work! I'll message you my "top secret" youtube channel I follow for clubbell stuff. The guy is nuts....both in a good and bad way.

  • these look interesting! where did u get them?

  • try doing TRICEP KICK BACKS with the heavy side pointing down

  • what is this video without Yo!! Elliot intro :)

  • how much each do they weight and is their purpose for functional strength or some kind of conditioning?

  • I'll be coming to Florida from Iceland soon, need to check out your gym if possible ;)

  • could do some funky overhead squats with those

  • Hey Elliot I need some help. . . Im a boxer but im in need of some great abs workout. but heres the prob. I don't have much of a good back. Can you help out with any type of workout for abs?? Please and thank you bro.

  • goddammit i am trying not to look gay here lmao

  • In a past life, Elliot was a lumber jack

  • watch out for your knees!! Ouch!

  • how much does each club weigh?

  • ah the good ole badass elliot is back who shows us moves that might just land us in jail. LOVE IT!

  • Use a sledgehammer :)

  • wtf

  • I don't know, seems like a normal dumbells do the trick for me

  • @Tarion666 Normal dumbbells will never work the wrists like that.

  • where did you buy that big wine bottle

  • Great video E.

Personally I find Clubs/Maces/Sledges way overpriced. But I found a way to make them. For instance, a mace: cut a whole in a small basketball, spray silicone in it, fill it with concrete, place ball on a pile of sand, insert a 4 ft pipe in wet concrete, and secure pipe. Next day cut the ball off and spray paint black. It is not perfect but definitely does the job. Do the same for clubs/etc., but find a container similar in shape of the club. Just thought I would share.

  • This doesn't look safe :<

  • Awesome stuff man - I wish I had access to this kind of gear at my gym! Equipment is great but no chance for sandbags, logs, clubs etc.

  • awesome bro

  • @dbzfighterz I believe it's called "indian club". I saw Louie Simmons using them to help strenghten and heal rotator cuffs, if I'm not mistaken

  • @FredBR999 Yep, just search "louie simmons indian clubs"

  • any tendonitis advice Elliott?

  • try playing basketball with a 10kg ball

  • how much does these weigh?

  • @0endofsilence I think the highest clubbells go is 45 lbs, so he probably got the 45 lb'ers.

  • 2nd

  • First w00t
