Really, I just can't understand. Gosh, people like Joey, the Andrew Sisters, Carol Burnett, Dean Martin, etc. It's just so sad it gone.

She was ridiculously over the top "sexy"; she was what was called in those days a "sex kitten", very tiny and cute. She was quite an energenic performer; very animated. Hers is a sad Hollywood story though; struggles with drink and drugs and anorexia, a lagging career and terrible relationships with men.
And of course you had to say Joey was hot in the most vulgar way possible. Not to be a prude, this is a public forum, an intimate one-yes- but still a public one. A little self-censorship in the cause of respect for women wouldn't hurt.
i'll admit i started watching this 'cuz i remember joey as legs supreme, but man oh man, her performance here shows so much talent in so many areas (no pun intended) that i feel a bit guilty-this woman wasn't just a sex object, she was a true legendary performer! thanks for putting the proof out there, machiikokyo!

I hadn't thought of Joey for a while until I recently heard the Jill Sobile song. I've since researched Joey's intervening years.
