  • the man puts on a tutorial to learn how to make

  • Comment removed

  • but the question is: Will it blend?

  • hola

  • please tell me what have you used to make wings and tail.....and how to make that hi speed motor

  • Hello I have this engine and an infrared recipient but I do not have this servo say to me to obtain like please this small servo

  • you should post a video of it flying

  • Bend over, let me see you shake your tail feather

  • whats the frame of the wings?

  • where to find these little engine

  • hi monk55! im searching how to make a rc plan that can fly i need ur help to do this. can u help me ?.....reply me on ...jamezband007@yahoo.com

  • i want to see flight time!

but that's cool. it's like an insect :)

  • u could mail that in a envelope lol

  • that is used by army for spy plane... nice work

  • very cool!

    was this homemade?

  • how to make the rudder actuator? electromagnets?

  • small issue surely you'll land it on the prop

  • @JonnyDude2009 the plan is so small and light I doubt it would hurt that prop. Maybe if you were just trying to break it..

  • i was like thats like 2 feet long till i saw a finger lmao

  • pager motor without metal case!! and working!

  • @MIGUEL2005LIMA I award you 1 point for your correct and astute observation.

  • @angrymonk55 teach us how to doing the same.

  • @angrymonk55 where are mi point..??

  • so its essentialy a micro parkzone vapor

  • I think I may have seen this on rcgroups, I have the same username on there as here can you pm me on there, I'm trying to find good cheap ir tx and rx.

    Many thanks.

  • did you make it out of a tooth pick ? lol

  • Comment removed

  • Would you sell me one of these?

  • how does the rudder turn?

  • it wont fly

  • what type of receiver do you use

  • how do you make it go up or down do you just apply more speed or what???

  • @valveone1 More throttle = up, less = down.

  • @valveone1 speed call it~

  • did you just rebuild a pager motor without a case because I just bought some pager motors and the inside Llosa a bit like the copper wire motor thing you ot there

  • @arey12345678 yes

  • Half a gram? 211,000 of these planes equals one of me. I'm fat.

  • @kdc43 A+ reply. just great....

  • shit,i made this too,and it cant take off xD

  • I'm a little late on seeing this but its truly awesome and amazing!

  • i love that !!!! did you bult the motor case or you bought it ... can you show some schematic for the back tail ... or a little hint ... if its ok with you hihi i would lique to built one to thats why ...

  • please send full details of this to my son(10 year old) make his own one

    mihiranmalaka@yahoo.com

  • please send full details of this small plane to made my 10 year old son built it by himself.pls sir as soon as possible please send the fully details

    malaka(his father)

  • does it fly

  • Does it actually fly?

  • that's small :D can i build one with the motor of a cell phone? please tell me

  • wow that weighs ;ess than a servo!

  • is this lighter than 2 pcs. of 500 mg tablet?

  • where can i buy one of those motors

  • does it fit in your walle?

  • i could do it but i cant find a place to buy the engine and turning system and controller

  • Bery good job

  • is there a vid of it flying??

  • where did you buy that thing

  • cool what all did u need

  • would be FUCK if you broke that, it's amazing !

  • its amazing what a toothpick and barbecue stick can do..

  • Demoiselle...

  • qual e a bateria que vc usa

    ????

  • Holy mackerel. It's surprising how tiny it is! Cool!

  • nicely done - but you should show how it actually flies!

  • holy shit! u r awesome. i want that plane :(

  • Amazing! Not for use in strong wind... or any wind at all for that matter :P

  • I stumbled across this at rocketg dot com forward slash micro He has all kinds of

free plans for very light carbon indoor flyers, using the radio and gear from cheap wal mart rc planes! He built the same as those 300 dollar planes for only twenty bucks! Neat!

  • It fly ? O_o

  • nice build more

  • Looks like he has used the parts from a $15 ir remote heli the rear motor is tiny like that.

  • You're a genius like me to give me some Instructions on how to make this wonder porfabor pribado send me a message saying as echo and where you bought the engine etc as you do not deserve five stars but 10 porfabor hope your answer with impatience thank you very much

  • where can i find how i can make 1 ?

its so nice ! damn! nice done m8 :D

  • @actionware man im trying to find how to build these also, did you have any luck finding anything? if you have please please messege me!!

  • No, sorry didnt find anything, i also dont know what materials they use :( but i will keep looking for it, greetings Actionware.

  • Wow, nice! Is the rudder having 3 positions or it can be turned proportionally/gradually? I wonder if the servo for it is something like simple electromagnet?

What really buggles me is this "celophane"-like transparent plastic: looks so light! what is it?

  • The rudder has about 7 positions I think and its basically driven direction by an electromagnet. Rudder deflection is controlled by the power going to the actuator coil.

The covering is OS film, made by DuPont.

  • Thanks for reply!

Actually this may be a good way of making our own servos--the power determines the position--provided that there is a tiny spring that keeps the servo always centered when there is no current.

This du pont film is awesome! Pityt one can't make their own micro receivers :D cuz then there will be no end to the number of small craft variations we can make!

  • donde consegiste el motor

  • Where did you get a prop that small???

  • Please make a video on how to make a motor like that ???

  • Did you buy that thing at WalMart? I'll have to keep my eyes open for these. Do they cost a lot of dollars?

  • its in the 'Beyond' section. it took me years to find, and when i did i forgot my money, so i just used my credit card.

  • @angrymonk55 and then you had to pay the 500% sales tax by using youre talking monkey from narnia to pickpocket people?.....

mustve been hard to make such small parts

  • what is it made of

  • nice show n tell now lets see it fly :P

  • is this the guiness world record?

  • Let it fly please !

  • wow tht is tiny!!!!!!!!

  • Damn! I didn't realize how small it was at first.

  • thats what she said

  • roflmao

  • lol

  • how long is this little thing going to fly ? 1 min ?

  • 5 min

  • 5 mins desc.

  • wow! so cool!

microfilm indoor rubber models are something most modelers want to try. i usually think of the video from british meets in old airship hangers.

    this is way cooler!

  • that is rediculously bad ass! my Avistar looks 1:1: scale next to that incredible machine you got!

  • nice!!!

  • Is it just a reciever, motor, battery, and servo?

  • i dont have access to that kind of batteries here in argentine (at least not an easy access or cheap) what can i use in replacement?

i got a 3V batterie from a clock store, and a motor from a broken cellphone... i test it out and run pretty fast... idk with the wings.... i still not started to build my ornithopter but how much Voltage does that batterie has?

btw well done (the plane) very clean.

  • Simply adorable and petit. How fast does it fly?

  • thats so cute

  • so whats the deal, can u buy those things or are they all homemade?

Looks good btw - I dont believe that that could weigh 1/2 a gram?

  • at this scale you basically have to custom make everything or heavily modify any off-the-shelf components. current record is under a quarter gram for all up weight. its very hard but doable .

  • thats crazy, i couldnt even find a micro battery that weighed less than 2 grams. very nice, i would like to see it fly.

  • were can i get the motor system and remote?

  • then rudder isn't great at steering:

not steering = a bit to the right cuz bended

    steering right = extreme right

    steering left = bit left

  • I'm thinking that the prop spins clockwise when viewing from the wing which would create torque making the plane roll a bit to the left, so the curved rudder corrects this. This is just a guess, but I think it's a good guess ^.^

  • tip for it going on this guess:

make 2 props that spin in the opposite direction of eachother, but both create torque forward :P

  • cmon, i wanted to see it moving.. :)

  • is it able to fly? ^^

  • What did you do for the reciever and ESC,it it a single chip thats available?

  • thats the same size as my micro rc butterfly

  • yes, and about 1/5th the weight.

  • ya i just bought the new micro butterfly and im only hald satisfyed with it it goes too fast for my living room. any way could you make a video of it flying?

  • yeah, it does fly fast. its a consequence of not scaling down the weight with the wing area, but there is not much that can be done at this scale without making the plane very fragile.

check the description for a flight vid. its not very good, i shot it when it didn't turn so well to the right, but its better now. i should shoot a new vid eventually.

  • were can u buy this stuff

  • i dunno did u?

  • This is just mind blowing. Awesome job dude.

  • fly the fuckin thing

  • Shame foil in LiPo battery can't be unfolded to make wing

  • irregular rudder :S

  • wo.

  • sick!

  • i am interested to know where u get the servo for ur rudder? DIY? How?

  • its not so much a 'servo' as an electromagnetic actuator. it rotates a magnet on the rudder via an induced magnetic field. and yes, it is DIY.

  • man this is brilliant.......u have any website to show ur work?

  • not specifically, you can find all my stuff by searching RCGroups for threads created by my screen name, Angry_Monk

  • can u make a vid when you are flying it?

  • if you follow the link in the description you can find a flight video.

  • that is fucking amazing....and when you picked it up It blew my mind!

  • it was huge untill u picked it up. then it became micro

  • i am speechless

  • HOYL CRAP

  • fly it plz.

  • great and fun

  • it's..it's.. it's TINY!!! :O :O :O

  • where did u get the recever ?

  • its home built from plans on the web. its simple IR 2ch design. weight is about 50mg.

  • that is sick!!!!

  • i did it with a havoc heli but it only flew fo about 5 seconds because i flew the actaul heli until it wouldnt charge.(i think the make it so it wont charge after a certain amount of use.

  • is that a tail rotor for the havoc heli?

  • its actually a home made carbon fiber prop specially designed for planes of this size. but the havoc heli prop is comparable in size, although the cord is a little bigger.

  • nice, what do you use to cover the wings???

  • Its called OS film, its a VERY thin (a couple microns) plastic covering. its a pain to work with.

  • Where can you buy the OS film?

  • use plastic food wrap lol
