I am having such a hard time deciding between the 60D or the T3i. T3i works better for me in terms of cost, and the weight of the camera.
But what I've noticed is that the T3i video quality is always blurry, no matter who uses the camera.
For example, in the beginning of this video (If she is using a T3i to record) her face is slightly blurred. But then towards the end of the video, everything, including her is crystal clear!
@aliciabiatch Anyone who uses manual focus has issues with the blurred edges. If you use automatic focus, you will have less of a problem. I just prefer manual.
at around 3:07 the reason you get blurred shots is probably because of auto settings.
A general rule of thumb for you not to get blurry shots would be to avoid shutter speeds lower than that of your current focal length.
Example would be if you're using a 50mm focal length you wouldn't want to use shutter speeds lower than 1/50 because camera shake will make your photo blurry. An exception to this is using a tripod to shoot which eliminates the blurriness/camera shake.
@greenT0910 If you are using a Mac, iMovie is the best one and included with your Mac. As far as Windows PCs go, I don't know many Windows programs. Try Windows Movie Maker.
Not sure if you have made a choice on a lens or SD card yet, but I would recommend the 50mm 1.4 over the 1.8 - definitely a difference in build quality and performance. I'm learning that lenses are meant to be invested in, and camera bodies are what you run through. Also, I use the Sandisk extreme pro (16gb) sd with awesome results. It's more expensive, but again - worth it.
Your Class6 card works well enough for video aside from the heat? Some people were saying videos on a class 6 and even some class 10 get choppy from writing buffer, so I was going to get a UHS-1 (ultra high speed, step above class 10) but they're a good bit more expensive,
Nooo, you need to get the 50 mm f/1.4. I have used both and the 0.4 difference is actually a lot! I used do films etc. with mine but now I just do photgraphy... Its pretty good, I want something a bit better thought like a Sony a77.
a great camera becomes a great impression I'm looking forward to seeing your films. may i ask what kind of film you make i don't wanna know what its about wanna know if it will be action or whatever you wanna do
I recommend the 1.4. I have had three 50mm 1.8.. The first one just disappeared. The second one broke when I drooped the camera by mistake. The camera was totally fine, and the third one also broke. Fixing them costs more than a new one. The build quality is VERY different from the 1.4.. Just sayin.
even with the zoom h1, i still cant understand what you are saying. Its your accent, you speak way too fast for me. Its alright, i usually just watch your videos over, and over anyways.

Amazing. Even at 360p the quality looks amazing. What were your export settings?

@aliciabiatch Getting the 60D over the T3i won't change anything. It's all in the lens :) Thanks for watching.
