@snipeyoass420 So sell it, Hondas resell pretty well. I like my 2.5l 07 coupe, 27mpg and - enough - acceleration. Still miss my TransAM just for the fun of driving a 5.7, but 14mpg @ $4 a gallon = no. Accord = reliable basic transportation that looks pretty decent and is cheap to drive after that initial 5 figure cashbomb drops.

but if it's in the D mode it automatically shifts at 6200

so yes, it makes a difference .

from this video, it looks like you're getting around 7.8 sec 0-100km(62mph). thats a big improvement over stock rated at 8.5 sec. does shifting using 1-2-D help with that? Because now I also want to get headers, what kind did you get? Does it still pass smog test?

when you shift the gear 1-2-D3-D manually, you can control when to change gears, (up to 6500 rpm), otherwise (only on D) the car will change gears at 6200 rpm only. And YES, it helps when you do that.

Honda's transmissions shift early than others. Theyre piece of crap. Look up Toyotas, Mazdas or Mitsubishis. Youll c they all shift right on the redline in D.

you are right Honda transmissions shift before the red line, but the red line is at 6,500 rpm and they shift at 6,300rpm , and 2008 models red line at 7,000 rpm and shift at 6,600rpm, while Toyota and Nissan the red line is at 6,000 rpm so they shift at 6,000 rpm ONLY!

So Honda wins baby HaHaHa!!!
