Hi Jeff. This vac is one of the most popular vacs in the UK. Its probably the only vac made in the UK now. Not even Dyson are made here anymore. I have the Henry Hound which is green colour with a 18 volt turbo head. I also got a rare cream and brown one and also a George which is a 3 in 1 and shampoos carpets also made by numatic international.
I'm in the UK and thinking of getting one of these or the one with the electric powerhead which is called the Henry Turbo HVR200T-2 . However this is the first time I have seen a Henry Xtra in blue. In the UK the Henry Xtra is always red in colour as only the standard Henry models are available in blue.
Do you think it is a good cleaner and will the turbobrush still work well as the bag fills or on thicker carpet?
It got a french plug

Fantastic little vacuums, I still love mine 21 years later, and it works just as well as it did in 1990 lol.

Hey Jeff!
Fantastic- They are amazing machines( and still UK assembled) :).
The 1st digit of the serial # is the year of his birth so to speak.
The reason yours has a 2 pin plug on is it was made for export to Europe where they have that type- ours come with a standard UK version.
Shoot me your address and I will get some bags in the post ;)
