Yep, that's one serious composition... along with Fight Like a Brave, Knock Me Down, Power of Equality, Under the Bridge, Warped, Aeroplane, Deep Kick, My Friends, Coffee Shop, Tearjerker, One Hot Minute, Shallow Be Thy Game, Transcending, Parallel Universe, Scar Tissue, Otherside, Porcelain, This Velvet Glove, Savior, This is the Place, Dosed, Don't Forget Me, Venice Queen, Snow, Slow Cheetah, Death of a Martain, Brendan's Death Song, Ethiopia, Did I Let You Know, & Police Station.
I wish they still had the inspiration to do shit more like this now, all there songs sound fucking boring now all about some cheesy chorus and junkie monkey ball shite. blood sugar was the end man

Maybe you should read anthony's book 'scar tissue' before you think you have knowledge about songs, Knock me down is so not about arrogance, but about shame you get by not knowing yourself and any of ambition's, which happened to Slovak. This song was written to say to frusciante that he rocked, because flea and AK teased him a lot...
Wow, this song is nothing compared to so many of their other songs, you can tell Keidis was fucked on heroin whilst writing this one, it blatantly shows in the stupidity of the lyrics.
Actually, this song is very deep & meaningful if you take the time to think about the lyrics; more so even than most of their newer songs. And while the Chili Peppers have grown as a band over the years, This song is just as good & relevant as anything they have done. And the heroin, Keidis had kicked it by that time; the song "Knock Me Down" is about the arrogance that comes with money & fame on the surface, but was actually about his heroin problem.
@MusicalRelease Actually, Chad and Flea signed posters with her on them with some pretty weird things, and she sued for $50,000. And this was when they weren't superstars..
@MusicalRelease John disliked his work in this album, that´s why he stopped playing them in concerts. The style in RHCP nowadays is in great part because of him. And I think it still kicks ass, but you can never please everyone.
@SkateTS808 The model from the cover sued the band members for selling some posters where the rose covering the nipple is missing. It was a limited edition and they autographed some of them with explicit messages written on them.
@SkateTS808 yea i agree great fuckin album and that chic on the cover makes it even better..lol you know this beautiful girl who is like a painter/model brandi annette i think she looks exactly like that chic on this cover of course she's still young now but still their both the most stunning girls ive ever seen.
ohh God I love this song.

I alwys wished the Chilli Peppers would remake this song but with Zack De La Rocha sing the second and third verse. That would be amazing!!

Every time I listen to the Chili Peppers, I'm glad that I got their tattoo on my back.

This song alone blows everything on "I'm with You" right out of the water.

@MetallicAddict15 I'm With You really isn't bad. The Red Hot Chili Peppers haven't put out a single thing I'd classify as 'bad'.

That girl seems really familiar.
I am pretty sure she was in the "Zephyr Song" music video. Doing that sexy dance through out the song. She's probably a good friend of the band now.

I will always fuckin have love for The Peppers, but I think their material nowadays is too alternative. Tho its still good stuff.
Probably why John left for the second time. I miss this this ol' distorted/raw/dirty/sexy fuckin Funky Rock they used to do.

@RafaSheep Yeah, I just read something like John Fru didn't like his guitar work on Mother's Milk. And I think his favorite was Californication.
I'm gonna have to agree, but I also cant get enough of BSSM. And his solo work is amazing.
