What type of wood is used for the sides? Also, how do you bend it? PLEASE REPLY!

@jpodejko for the sides use Cherry or ceder probly be the best. to keep the bend; put the glue on the the wood where it meets the attatching wood. put clamps on and weights on the clamps to keep the wood from popping back up. Then when the glue dries the bored will be stuck in that bent position. should take about 24 hours to fully dry.

Put a 50hpr engine on it, and i doubt it could even float without turning backwards and capsizing. If it did float, with a human being in it, turn the engine on and yhe boat would do a backflip at every wave. Sounds like a fun waste of 5000$.

i have a boat thats in need of work at the bottom, this boat is a 1964 tally craft cabin cruzer, at the bottom inside the ass in; i have found wood rot, the out side is fiber glass over the hole boat, but the hole boat is ALL wood mahogany i want to know how i can replace the side and bottom in the bad section there is a small section thats needs to be FIX also at the bottom in the bathroom. please tell me how i go about doing this... here is me e-mail Rmaster193@yahoo.com i can send PICs

@SthealthRaider I've built many wooden boats. We use fiberglass putty for any gaps and then use fiberglass cloth and resin for the entire hull. Glenn L marine has video tutorials to do this. I don't know what his web address is but I'm sure you can find him if you google him.
