I personally think Notch should try to be less retro-artistic with the sounds we all know what they sound like in real life like eating and go for more of pseudo-realistic sounds, I think the contrast between the audio and visuals will work much better and create a much more effective feel of immersion into the world then going all out retro with it does.

I'm unsure about eating and drinking. Eating now makes mouths sound like sandpaper, and the character seems to slurp a lot. I could live with it... but I think there's better sounds out there.
