  • tried it 4 days ago, then 3 days ago, then 2 days ago...did it once in the morning and once at night. 10 min on each spot on each foot. did nothing, i was not thinned out at all and one centimeter dialated a week ago. I went to the Dr again today and no change...so nope the accupressure has not worked for me. But still doesnt hurt to give it a try!!

  • I watched this last night and massaged my cousins feet who is 3 days overdue and is having her baby RIGHT NOW! 11pm last night I massaged for 30 minutes on and off. 2am her water broke. I massaged again this morning and she went from 4 to 8 centimeters. This definitely works :D

  • Checkout our channel /SuperPainReliever :) We have a medical device for this!

  • I just thought about doing this and after 1 hour of thinking about it I gave birth.

  • I'm 36 weeks tomorrow, but I'm going to try this at 37 weeks. Hope this works!

  • Amazing! it actually worked!! This was my first & was 3 days away from the due date. I did it myself & contractions started after 3 hours. My little angel came out within 12 hours.... thanks so much..

  • woohoo thanks for this video!! I'm gonna try it:) I got 3 more days til my due date but I am so ready to hold my baby girl in my arms asap:)

  • @yebittendog it does work!! i went in 2 labour 10hrs later n i wasn't due for 4wks when i tried it (believing it wouldn work) won't make tat mistake again! Il b waiting til im 40wks

  • this sounds like a crock of shit.

  • Very helpful video. We're definitely gonna try this. I'm almost 39 weeks and since I'm diabetic the OBGYN won't let me past week 39. I'd rather try this before the pitocin!!!

  • Sitting here trying this...first two points have been pressed on for about ten minutes now...getting sharp cramps in lower abdomen between hips and belly. Hope they continue or get harder!

  • Theres no way im waiting til 42 weeks

  • Sorry, you need to update your information! Studies demonstrated that the fetus actively prepares for birth. The fetal brain gives the signal to begin the birth process.Endocrine signals from fetal brain are sent to placenta to stimulate increased estrogen production which initiates uterine contractility, and starts labor process. Normal human gestation = 37-42 weeks. Half occur before 40 & half after 40 weeks. Currently, ACOG recommends labor induction at 42 weeks.. NOT earlier!

  • Will these cause miscarriage if done too early?

  • @XxtweekyxX I think if you just try it and don't really push it, and you are under 30 weeks or even the late twenty weeks, it just won't work on you. I also suppose it would cause early labor at the most, but I can't imagine a miscarriage from this alone.

  • Thank-you so much!!! My friend was 41 weeks, and after working on her, she went into labour 4hrs later!!! It really DOES work!!! Thanks!

  • Normal gestation is between 38-42 weeks.Post dates is > 42 weeks, NOT 40 weeks. Critical brain development in the womb continues through 41 weeks. Babies determine the best time to be born and release a hormone to help that process begin.Self-induction can interrupt their natural flow.If a medical induction is scheduled, or the mother/baby are having problems requiring quick birth, then Absolutely, by all means, self-induce with acupressure, acupuncture and massage! TouchForBirth

  • @BirthMassage Babies do not release any hormones into mother's body. Mother's own body releases oxitocin to start the contractions. Sometimes (due to hormonal imbalance) the body fail to produce it on time though. Providing that in late third trimester a process of physiological aging of placenta occurs, it is dangerous to stay pregnant post 40 and 41 week. The risk of still birth increases rapidly.

  • I tried dis on my last preg, not tinking it would work i was only 36wks, My waters broke the nxt day bout 10 hrs later!!

Will b doing it again this time but i will wait till im 40wks!!!!

  • can u try this if your 39 weeks

  • 40 weeks today and am SO ready to get this show on the road! Hope to have good news by tomorrow :)

  • Thank you for posting this. I am 41 weeks and had a 24 hour failed induction at the hospital yesterday and am supposed to go back in 3 days to try again. I will try this to get things going.

  • R u supposed to do it on both LEGS??

  • I am due tomorrow and have been stuck in early labor for a couple weeks. I tried these points as I watched the video, and within 10 minutes, contractions got stronger. Hubby and I are about to sit down and watch a movie while hitting these points together (one foot each). I've been dreading tomorrow as this is number 4 and I have NEVER gone beyond 39 weeks. Thank you so much..... here we go......

  • can I do this on myself? (if I can reach down there haha)

  • ok soo my sis wants me to do this to her and she is 38 weeks should i be doin it

  • I was 40 wks 5 days pregnant and scheduled for induction in 3 days. I really didn't want to an induction, so I did this for about 30 minutes total spread out through 2 hours. My water broke in 4 hours after I have started doing it and labor has begun. Though I have been walking for 4 miles everyday in a forest with a lot of hills... Also did nipple stimulation, but also can't tell what really helped. Good luck to you all the future mothers!!!

  • for how long? and how many times do you need to do this inorder for it to work

  • Tried this last night before going to bed and at 4:30 this morning contractions have started, it's going slowly but it has definitely helped to start things going! Wish me luck! :o)

  • Do you have pressure points you can share for varicose veins or leg swelling during pregnancy?

  • Nice feet and toes.

  • Hi there. I had a question. My question is my doctor wants to induce me 2 weeks ahead of pregnancy for medical reasons. I really dont want to go through induction process with the inserting etc..bringing on hard contractions etc...so I was wondering in a case like this can I try and use this near that time I am going to be induced anyways. I would really like to try as much as I can for it to happen naturally then at the hospital. Please let me know asap as I am scheduled to be induced june 23

  • I tryed this after my sister tryed it she was one week past her due date and went it to labour the next day!! I also went into labour the next day i was 39 weeks and 3 days!! We both gave birth 2 boys four weeks apart :) xx

  • How long do you need to rub the points for and how often?

  • Wanted to clarify that post-dates is actually after 42 weeks, not 40. 40 is just the average (38-42 weeks).

  • i am 3cm dilated an I've been so for over a week now... will this get things going?

  • Passing your video on to my girlfriend who is due and carrying too much fluid to get strong contractions or go into labor- but very badly WANTS HIM OUT! I hope it works! Thanks much!

  • im 39+2 and i will be trying very soon :)

  • so far they all fail

  • I was gonna say, this lady's ankles don't look like she's pregnant. ;^)

  • @gertrudewhite She even says shes not pregnant

  • Watch how Jason Patric uses acupressure effectively on Krista Bridges' right foot. Search YouTube for "jason waspalive"

  • Thank you for this. I reviewed your vids before working on my sis-in-law. She started having contractions 4 hours after I worked on her. I'm a certified Acupressurist and help out family and friends from time to time. I have another one tonight. Send blessings, please? Thank you!

  • @kaysagana

    sending blessings!

  • im 37weeks.. can i still try the acupressure?

  • awsome, working good! thank you

  • awsome, working good!

  • Thanks for posting these. I was being induced with my first, and it was not a favorable induction. One session with an accupuncturist was all I needed. :) Can you do a video on points to use during labor to relieve pain?

  • @umsami i second that!!

  • Thank you so much, I'm going to try these out tonight!

  • Hey!

Does anyone know how often should you do this a day for it to work!???

  • i did these 3 videos in the 'playlist' and my contractions started later on that day! thanks!!

i only did each one for a few seconds though and i was 39 w 2 days. 2 days prior at my dr appt i was closed and softening...

you do a great job w/ the demonstration. i hope these are still posted by the time i try for #2!

  • Brilliant thankyou, will try all these out X

  • thanks great

  • Just a quick question that I hope doesn't get over looked. I am 39 weeks and at EXACTLY 40 weeks they are wanting to induce me. I know that I am 3 cm and some effaced (Don't know exactly how much.). But my question is this: Since you said that it's for past 39 weeks is there anything that I could do that would help in the last couple days BEFORE they use swine stuff and other chemicals on me? (I am a Sabbath keeper and we don't use pigs period.) I had heard about acupressure and hoped to use it

  • Thanks for this info! appreciate it :) will def try it this time round

  • should i really be trying this???

  • Yes, as long as you are past 39 weeks.

  • Can you press different points at the same time and induce faster rather than doing each point by itself?

  • sorry, i didnt see your comment. SP6 and LI4 is a good combination-especially during labor.
