  • wtf this bitch cut him off fuckin bitch, rip jack :'(

  • RIP Jack, you would have made a wonderful prime minister.

  • RIP Jack. You were so cool, man. :) will miss you

  • rip Jack, Harper will pay for his crimes against humanity

  • I'm sure glad there is a Democratic party AND a NEW democratic party (NDP) so that the liberal fags votes can be split!

  • RIP Jack.

  • RIP Jack, we'll miss you

  • RIP

  • Cannabis (Cannabinoids) cures ... Cancer!

  • OK Jack, now you're in. GET IT DONE!

  • So are we still on Jack?

  • Pay attention closely... "We want to implement some rules... Banning using marijuana and driving.." Oh great. We're better off now with Harper. At least I can still smoke pot and drive !

  • @xYoungDeezYx

stephen harper is a fucking idiot.

  • @xYoungDeezYx

    LOLOLOL.

  • Is he even for marijuana? In 2009 he reversed his position...

  • Vote NDP !!!!!!

  • pathetic!! NDP are such a crappy party its not even funny

  • @BigG99 I agree. NDP supporters are using Mr. Layton's passing away to score political points, something that the ndp & supporters say only other parties do. They strike me as a very hypocritical bunch

  • this guy makes me proud to be a canadian

  • we all need to vote NDP, they have an incredibly high chance of being elected this time. we had enough of liberal bullshits and stephen harper's war project!

  • @DeadlyShadow090 Incredibly *high* chance lol. Sorry. I couldn't resist

  • wow fuck harper get this guy in office!

  • Based on this, we all know the NDP's stance on Cannabis. Legalize! But as the 3rd party and sometimes the 4th because of the stupid Bloc, they had absolutely no clout to actually do anything about it in Parliament.

As to Dana and Kirk, they were stupid and posted videos of them driving while under the influence of several drugs. Of course they had to distance themselves from the campaign for awhile to as not to hurt their party.

  • whoa whoa woo whoa. Wait.. So what they're saying is... Everyone is going to vote NDP? Yayyyyyy

  • I'm voting NDP.

  • About time, people realize he's a classy guy

  • jack layton is not a doctor tsk tsk tsk ironic when he is says he would focus on our healthcare but legalize marijuana? what cigerette and alchohol not harmful enough for ya?

  • @cham4356 You should read more. Cannabis is actually measurably less harmful in every way (except criminal sanction) than alcohol and nicotine in any form.

  • @Scriven42

read my comment again before replying....

  • @cham4356 Um, do some research. Cannabis is entirely safe because there has NEVER been a death attributed to it's exclusive use. Alcohol and cigarettes kill thousands annually and are legal. And legalizing a safe substance you CANNOT die of an overdose on, is good economic policy. It will free up billions of dollars wasted on the Crminal justice system, so they can concentrate on REAL crime.

  • FINALLY I CAN SMOKE IN PEACE !

  • This guy is an Idiot!

  • The NDP just has the right stance on every issue for me. NDP!

  • harper may have an agenda on the war on drugs but, there is legal medical marijuwana that is goverment funded. so, in a way he is a drug dealer. LOLOLOL drug dealers dont want it legal it takes away proifts for them. I wonder who is going to be voting for harper. Not me.

  • Now I finally know who I'm voting for..........

  • Will jack pass prescribed drugs? if so i'd rather grab some tylonal 3's and oxycotons anyday than sloppy skitzophernia mary jane..Plus i hear jack is going to raise the minimum wage and make it "affordible" to live in canada..I'll give him a chance and vote for him this may..

  • @1988scottcarey I can see him passing prescribes drugs espcially since hes into better healthcare hes getting my vote . P.S Oxys rule !

  • This man's gotta go into parliament this May.

  • @CombatAssassin hes gotta win this may

  • @CombatAssassin YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • @CombatAssassin Just what Canada needs a Pot Smoking Whore house frequenting Prime Minister..

  • @CombatAssassin Swing and miss.. Great man, too early..

  • I think I like him now. I don't smoke dope by the way.

  • ...but not MAKE those decisions FOR us... Thats where the line should be drawn for gov't boundaries...The best gov't is which governs least...don't treat us like children &take away OUR RIGHT to self-decide.. I have SO MUCH more to say about this &MANY more ideas, but I cant be bothered to keep writing..esp. on youtube...All I know is that this will solve MANY problems&make ppl happier& more trusting in the gov't...Coffee addicts, ciggyy..

"It's only 'abuse' when it goes against the status-quo"

  • for personal use, not harming or infringing on the rights of others... all drugs should be legal (they are a personal choice and freedom), but make sure to warn people that if you get behind a wheel or do smthg harmful while intoxicated (on drugs INCLUDING alcohol, like it currently is) then THAT will be a punishable crime. Legalize all rec. drugs, make harm-to-others a crime and let ppl know that government's role is to EDUCATE and make sure we make INFORMED decisions (..cont'd..)

  • the education-campaigns (just like with cigarettes and alcohol), prisons would DRASTICALLY be LESS-populated/crowded, we wouldn't have to spend so much money incarcerating ppl, the cops would be able to focus more on rapes/murders..etc..people wouldn't be stigmatized..jobs would be created for drug-services/counselling...don't insult our intelligence...let us know the risks/benefits of the drugs but don't make the decision FOR us, like children..make ALL drugs legal as long as it's (..cont'd..)

  • And if someone wants to be a drug-addict, that should be their own personal choice. If they were legal, the addict/user's life wouldn't be ruined because they're getting ripped off buying them on the street, making them broke, never knowing what's really IN the drugs..etc. If they were legal and regulated, it would be safe, and the person can do their drugs (like cigarette smoking, alcohol drinking) at stable prices, no-lacing-risk and the revenue from legalizing would go into the (..cont'd..)

  • jack layton is my hero. he's got some balls

  • To bad Harper is in office

  • smoke weed errry day

  • Comment removed

  • smoke weed evreyday

  • Ahh this is just another political move by the NDP to gain support, they really don't want to decriminalize pot, they just have a bad rep for making some bad economic choices and political moves over the years that really messed up the system. Believe me, I know Jack Layton, and he really doesn't care about this cause.

  • @andy77718 If he really doesnt care about this issue then he feels the same way alot of us feel. Lets just legalize it and get on to some real issues. I bet the mistakes he has made through the years(which I am well aware of) are not the amount harper has made through out his term.

  • holly fuck VOTE NDP!!!

  • The NDP party will taxes the shit out of weed!

  • Snowbirdflock you are an idiot

  • @dugalicious On the contrary, most people say I'm quite smart! :)

  • @SnowbirdFlock Smart, mabye. Narrow minded, deffinately.

  • here are my thoughts: ndp is worthless. so is weed. today's youth need to throw away their mariuana joints, and go back to school.

  • Comment removed

  • @SnowbirdFlock fuck your shitty comments, they are worthless. u need to worry about your sandy cunt and not what the youth of today are doing...who do u think you are? who are u to fucking dictate what the youth is doing?

  • @kubassekzion Omigosh! I see I've upset a young pothead!

  • @SnowbirdFlock actually i am 45. and i am not a pot head. i am just aware of the fact that you have been sadly conformed to believe what ever your goverment tells you to. u have a nice life eating lies, and pretending your happy with the way life is, u conformed mindless sheeple. bitches like you make me have so little faith in our race. you would jump in front of a transport if you were told to by someone eith higher authority. heres the thing, ALWAYS QUESTION AUTHORITY

  • @kubassekzion Wrong, dude. My life's awesome! I don't need stinky crap like pot to be happy. As for today's youth: a country full of unemployed potheads? That can't be a good thing. That's why I say today's youth need to get serious about life. This has nothing to do with the questioning of authority.

  • @SnowbirdFlock Smoking pot doesnt make one de motivated. that is a stereo type fed to the people by the goverment. have you seen reefer madness? your agreeing with that... i agree with the un employment. but that doesnt have n e thing to do with pot. there are many people that smoke pot that are highly successful and bring lots of benefits to their communities. saying all pot heads are unemployed and un motivated is a judgement, a judgement that can be easily compatred to racism.

  • -------> we are all one. what we look like doesnt mean shit does it? what we do doesnt either, as lo9ng as we are not hurting any one physically or mentally. how can u stereo type a group of people like that? u may nopt need pot to make u happy. but im sure u need something... i dont judge u for what that is, so dont judge me. or any other human being who makes the choice to inhale.

  • @SnowbirdFlock I'm a 17 year old Canadian. I've graduated highschool and am going to post seconday next fall for four years to get my bachelors degree in architectural technology. I have a job as a line cook, and work very hard at it. I pay taxes so lazy pathetic excuses for a life adults can collect their welfare. Some of them quite similar to yourself in that they are closed minded, old fashioned, and uneducated. I have a lot going for me and I use marijuana recreationally. Alright, "dude"

  • @canascot02 I remember you! You're a fairly nice guy (basically!), and I'm glad you're doing well, unlike the huge majority of pot-users I've seen. I just got back from Europe, and the young people there don't do drugs, like pot. They're motivated by a desire to work, not by a desire to "chill".

  • @SnowbirdFlock Where abouts in Europe did you go. The marijuana laws are pretty relaxed over there, for instance it's sold and taxed in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In Czech Republic, small amounts are legal for possesion, and not a misdemeanor (15 grams to be precise) In Belgium, authorities don't bother if it's an adult caught. In Germany you won't be fined for possesion. The Danish widely accept it. When I went ot Europe I travelled through Siwtzerland, and Italy, and found it was qutie common.

  • @canascot02 Wow, you know a lot about this crap. Serbia & Romania.

  • @SnowbirdFlock Serbia and Romania, hmm haven't been to Eatern Europe. I would like to see some of the east even though most say it's dangerous. I'd like to visit Croatia. Yeah, I know a bit. But when your passionate about something and tired of peaceful, good people being labelled as criminals you make the effort to learn more etc. Also before I tried marijuana I made sure that I knew what I was getting in to.

  • @canascot02 I'd say SRB & ROM are only dangerous if one were to bring his lawless western behaviours with him. Bringing drugs is not an option. Good for them! But I much prefer life in Canada, I was born & raised as such. But back to the video, I'd never vote ndp again. They couldn't run a popsicle stand, let alone a country.

  • @SnowbirdFlock Really, wonder why 5 out of the top ten countries for murders per capita are in Eastern Europe, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Estonia, and following in 11th is yet another Eastern European country, the Ukraine. Keep in mind, I did say Eastern Europe in general, not jusy Serbia and Romania. Really, you are prohibited from bringing drugs. So like, alcohol, tobacco, tylenol? Did you know dextromethorphan, an antituissive which has a great addictive potential (cont.)

  • @SnowbirdFlock is found in Tylenol. Really, I respect your opinion, I just don't understand it. Marijuana is not addicitve, you can not overdose, it is not carcinogenic. Tell me one single negative thing about using it, and for god's sake don't say motivation, because that is the individuals fault. As for your criticism towards the NDP, I have a question, how do you know they can't run the country if they've never had the chance. NDP has never been in power. I

  • @canascot02 Well, I'm bored of this. If you want to have won this, fine. I never intended to win a debate here. But I'm not convinced this stuff is healthy, I don't think I ever could be. Especially since many studies say it's unhealthy. Plus it makes a person hallucinate, and everyone agrees breathing in smoke is harmful. Those 2 facts pretty much convince me. Good day.

  • @SnowbirdFlock I didn't want to win as you put it, I simply wanted to educate you on the topic. Sure, many studies may state that it is unhealthy, and many state that it is. The ones that are against generally are funded in part by the alcohol industry, the pharmaceutical industry, and the tobbaco industry. What that equates to is that people know it would be a threat to these industries, for instance marijuana provides a safe, effective, all natural alternative to pharmaceuticals such as (cont)

  • @SnowbirdFlock Desoxyn manufactured by Lundbeck Pharmaceuticals Inc. Do you want to know what Desoxyn is? It's methamphetimine approved by the US food and drug administration for the treatment of ADHD and obesity. Sad really, they use meth on kids with ADHD. I'd hope you'd agree with me that meth is far more dangerous than the plant, marijuana. It goes to show that your perfect government isn't so perfect after all, and what they really care about isn't you but that these mega corporations(cont)

  • @SnowbirdFlock turn a profit. Secondly, it makes you have minor non-visual halucinations. So minor the worst would be hearing someone laugh... so harmful, eh? As for your second fact, I said that I use marijuana, I never said I smoke it. You can use a fat like butter to absorb it with heat and bake with it and cook. In other words I eat weed cookies. By the way they are organic and made with whole weat lol. Lastly, name off one study that says marijuana is unhealthy, not the smoke produced(cont)

  • @SnowbirdFlock from the combustion of plan material but the plant itself. Peace.

  • @SnowbirdFlock Oh and it has a very nice aroma. I'm so sorry you find it to be as you put it "stinky crap" And I don't 'need' it either, but I choose to use it because I like it.

  • @SnowbirdFlock

Your old-fashioned, authoritarian attitudes have long been abandoned as ignorant and outdated. Read some recent studies. Read Cannabis Culture.

You're anti-marijuana and idealize formal education and "most people" say you're "quite smart"? Perhaps at the government boot-camp. Outside, the majority of us who have much more experience than you will have something else to tell you.

Drop the ignorant attitude and truly align yourself with freedom/liberty.

  • @RevivalOfBuzzBuzz Read, (yawn) Cannabis Culture? (yaaaaaawn)

  • @SnowbirdFlock

Willful ignorance -- as the years pass, I hope you'll wake up to authoritarianism and stop being the government/police's parrot.

We should not raise our children to respect authority or the system, but to question it. Drop the traditional values -- they are BS. A generation that is suspicious of authority is the key to a freedom-oriented society.

  • You Tube ...

"CANCER-GATE - The Rick Simpson Story"

    &

Why hasn't The U.S. National Cancer Institute tested Rick Simpson's Cancer Cure Hemp Oil. Is it lack of personnel (2,100 staff members) or limited financial support (2010 budget of $5.1 Billion dollars)!

  • @yuteman78 Because marijuana has been stigmatized, people are dumbasses, and because of the papers and plastics industries being afraid of hemp. But the greatest reason is probably because of ignorant dumbasses.

  • THIS JUST IN

    WEED CAUSES CANCER

  • @1kingclover

    you dumbass

  • @1kingclover THIS JUST IN! YOUR A DUMBASS!

  • VOTE NDP man lol

    ... or liberal

  • NDP not liberal there capitalist like conservatives jut not as much

  • @theREALdrugfacts anyone except the faggot harper!

  • Canadian NDP leader Jack Layton has Prostate Cancer. Visit Spain or ask Rick Simpson for the cure?

"We have previously shown that Cannabinoids induce growth inhibition (restrict) and apoptosis (cell death) in prostate Cancer PC-3 cells"

    PMID: 19690545

  • Jack Layton and the NDP do not support Medical MJ!

That's why the Raid on Rick's home!

The NDP support Street Drugs not Medical MJ or My file would not have been closed!!

I want Jack's pain controlled as well as mine is, with all the support that the NDP have Given me as a Medical MJ User!!

Now we just need Stoffer and Davies to need the cure and suffer too with NDP support!!

    Poor Jack?

  • I drive fine wen im baked.

  • HELL YES!

  • Right on Jack with this alone I will now vote NDP, the only reason I like Harper is because he is a freak hockey fan.

  • Don't vote for Jack, I thought the same, but he just lied to get young people to vote NDP and get him into office, he doesn't really want MJ legal.

Also, Harper seems like a jackass too, he won't legalize, and it seems the MJ laws are getting tougher in Canada.

I thought Canada would lead the way in MJ legalization, but it seems like it will never happen, there's a better chance of it getting legalized in California than in Canada!

What happen to Canada? We used to be a good cool country.

  • last election I voted NDP, this time im changing my vote back to liberal just to get the conservatives out. ANYTHING is better then a conservative government.

  • Jack betrayed us.

  • i think theres an election coming up this fall so do your country a big favour and vote for the NDP.

  • he took back his words he no longer wants to do this, vote liberal theyve treid like 3 or 4 times to decriminalize it

  • Totally True. Simple fact>>The benifets of Legal marijuana are better then bad reasons. And most of those bad reasons dont make any sense. And what is sense!!!>>sense is the CANADIAN PEOPLE! needing to see THE CORUPTION!! on this issue.

FELLOW CANADIANS>>>>work together to get this done...TALK ABOUT IT(LEARN ABOUT IT)... DONT JUST SIT THEIR!!! .Marijuana should be legal!!!!PERIOD

Thx for posting the video btw

  • I'm like you-live in Canada, don't smoke marijuana. However I say legalize it and let marijuana users pay for our healthcare through taxes. Its a free ride for us non-users. I also don't believe legalization will increase usage.

  • No, you moron Marijuana heals brain cells you dimwit make them stronger.

  • Fucked up asshole. Marijuna is proven to heal people not kill them. You just want attention i gave it to you now go die.

  • rilly? how so?

  • Legalize Weed By Calling THIS ->>1 973 409 3274

At the end hit "#" and Your vote is counted!

With 1,000,000 Votes the Bill will be proposed to Barrack Obama

  • wtf is your problem fthrcast? i think you've been sniffing too many "cornholes" (assholes for those of us who are over the age of 10)

    I got some advice:

lay off the roids and the cornholes, and

    toke up, and calm down.

    thanks.

  • SHOVE IT UP YOUR FERRY CORNHOLES !

  • Shove it up your CORNHOLE !

  • Lol you meant to say shove it up your cornholes fairies hehehe .

  • Get a few cops high on pot , and pussy becomes so much more enlightening eh? To the point of changing the law. A typical cop's anthology to get a pay raise - buy some pot , forget owning anything - and fuck all the pussy you can for government assistances , even from the same sex.

  • Oh , Canada , who cares ? Wave them off !

  • Lots care 10% of American's each year are comnig to Canda just for pot and they stay their. Read a book dn research b4 you open your rusted up jack.

  • THE BRUSHOFF EMPLOYEE = CANADA !

  • Jack Layton , the king of "USE IT" with his Liberal buddies. Why is it Jack , that you couldn't even secure the words within the GM contracts? Because you are a boss wannabe? Now you wanna take the crack trail to China eh? Fuck You Jack Layton , and anybody who supports you !

  • if you think weed is bad the don't smoke it!who are we to tell peopel what they can and can't do to them themselves

  • morum67 : I see you have responded to terrorism by agreeing to say something so stupid. Take a look at the Liberal practices of years gone by , and you will see that they believed in allowing just about anything for government workers. It didn't work ! Your name should be moron67. What next , people are entitled because they are consumers or users in Canada. Fuck Canada , ( oh , Canada - go away and be waved off ).

  • Do some research. Becasue more of your people are coming to Canada for pot so fuck a blutn in it and Smoke up. Wed is better for people atleast we have real freedom. Go shove your jack in your piehole and Smoke Up.

  • He's so full of himself it's sickening. Pleeeeeese go away!!

  • prohibition subsidizes organized crime. if you support prohibition, you support the subsidization of organized crime... period. you can't support the former without the latter.

  • RussLBarth : When you can't hold back the tide of crime during the "stoned years" , don't call your local hydro because you are powerless to help from being killed. You live in the dark , and look at all the tiny little lights on electronics equipment , don't you ? Fuck that , and fuck Canada for having been so stupid in the past as to actually expect stoners to care what happens. Subsidize , that's a laugh coming from phonepets and curbhugging housebuilders. Like you were building it.

  • that made no sense......

  • The D.A.R.E. generation here is fighting back and saying NO to such idiocies. DARE has been vastly counterproductive, and it is one of many failed anti-drug policies.

  • I am an American, and I support legalization, taxation and regulation. Prohibition is insane! There are plenty of great anti-drug war groups here in the country, like SSDP (which has chapters in US, Canada, Britain and Nigeria), NORML, MPP, and Drug Policy Alliance. We're educating people, and slowly but surely, we will get it decriminalized. The prohibitionists will NOT win in the long run! I sure hope guys like Jack Layton and the NDP can actually get something done on this issue up there

  • SOMEONE better get something done. You guys are much more ready to legalize weed than my paranoid American brethren our.

  • @whoo689 sadly they've never been in power, and most likely won't be for a while. It's a battle between liberals and conservatives constantly.

  • @whoo689 if prohybitions dont win it will be thanks to smoking hippies like you, admit it you just wanna be a drugadict withouth getting in trouble, thats all

  • @PemtiumVideo Yeah actually. If I want to do drugs, it should be MY choice what I can or cannot put in my body. Just like some like to have a glass of wine after work or a ciggy, some people want to have a snort/puff ..etc. The gov't's role should be: To educate the citizens (TRUTHFULLY) about the effects of certain drugs and then leave the choice to the adult individual. The 'crime' should be doing activities you shouldn't be doing intoxicated (harming OTHERS).

  • LEGALIZE

    EDUCATE

    CHOICE

  • Colombia is not the USA's biggest trading partner was it?

They can't win in Iraq. What are they gonna do if the face a high tech actual military? Would they risk a Canada - Russia protection alliance? I think not.

There would be some issues come up. However, military/trade embargo action would not take place.

  • With the state the Americans are in right now, they would fear to reprimand us for anything. Remember, we have a symbiotic relationship. Without us buying from them just over pot, we'll see them go into a depression before we hit full on recession

  • Seriously. If we legalized and taxed the hell out of marijuana, the country would make a profit.

  • Never smoked weed. Never have, never will.

  • Sucks to be you.

  • We are each others biggest trading partners. One cannot survive without the other. There would be unhappiness, but the US would deal with it.

With the amount of people who will come across the border and buy pot from a store we will be making a serious amount of money!

  • your a retard if you think people over youtube are going to believe what you have to say

  • it shouldnt be illegal!!!

  • He might not be the greatest leader that Canada could ever have...But i think we should give him a shot. There have only been 2 political parties running Canada since it became a country. The liberals and the PCs. We should give the NDP a chance i mean before they were called the NDP, Sir Tommy Douglas had an idea to make healthcare free for everyone and anyone. A great idea, but they never got total power. So, having the new democrats run the country, really wouldnt hurt us at all. Weed Rules.

  • legalize plzz

  • Weed rules.

  • in the words of the great bob marley "Herb is a plant!" I love smoking that ganga green and I'm glad to see Jack Layton support decriminalization, however I was very disapointed by his decision to remove Dana Larson as a Candiate, it very hypocritcal of him and it almost detered me from voting NDP.

  • I agree about the weed thing totally but i still wouldnt vote NDP

  • for some reason, this video made me think differently about this jackass. Im only 14, and i dont know much about this stupid political stuff, But I was going for harper (only because parents were), But for some reason i like this guy now.

  • Don't be an idiot and vote for whomever your parents voted for. Think for yourself and develop your own opinions. Of course I know when I was 14 I didn't care much for politics either, but you will as you get older, at least I hope so.

  • Still debating between NDP or Green Party.

  • The NDP is the only party, by the way, that wants to put more cops on the street. Check their platform and see for yourself.

A vote for Layton is NOT a vote for Harper Minority. Stephan Dion still is a LONG way from forming a government of any kind.

    Vote NDP.

  • Careful here - he thinks it should be decriminalized ... that is VERY different from legalization. In other words - possession will still be considered "illegal". But instead you get a possession ticket, instead of going to jail. Selling pot would still be illegal and criminal.

Although voting for NDP is a good alternative, remember that a vote for Layton is a vote for a Harper Minority

Vote Liberal - it's the only logical choice to remove the Cons from power.

  • libral party is only concerned about money, it works in a capitalist mindset, but all of the deabates i've went to, all they can talk about is bringing in new plants, and making the smaller cities grow, which would just add polution and the many other problems that comes with having more people. As with the NDP they are a "For the People" party, which is why they have my vote, and just about always will.

  • EXCACTLY

  • thats harsh

  • I live in BC weed is cheap, and strong. All my friends are stoned 24 hours a day, they are not creative at all and they live at home doing burger flipping jobs so all they have to pay for is weed. As for creativity that quality doesn't out way hard working sober people getting an education and achieving careers.

  • Marijuana is here.

    That's a fact.

Our choice is not whether to have pot,

but whether we are going to support organized crime,

encourage gang warfare, corrupt police and politicians,

    imprison and destroy the lives

of hundreds of thousands of young people

for doing what most politicians admit to having done.

Rape and prison are absurd responses to getting high.

  • cunsomption is something people need to learn about you need to blaze in moderation thats what needs to be taught

  • Let me tell you first hand that most of the really creative, motivated, hard-working, honest, well paid, highly talented, people I know are pot heads.

The problem isn't the weed, it's your do nothing 'friends'. If it wasn't marijuana that was holding them back at dead end jobs it would be the next available alternative.

and oh, I live in BC too.
