the engine on a yamaha dont make more than 10500 rpm. MABY 11000, than it just dosent go longer, whatever you do, it wouldt. unless you get longer rodd, bigger sylinder and all that, but then, its not 125 ccm anymore.

brianskiii, you make no sence a bigger cylinder wouldn't really make the RPMs higher. My friend has got a dt 125 with a 180 kit on it and it hardly does 9500 RPMs, that beacouse he has original carb on it. but that good beacouse it's still much stronger, uses less fuel and last stroneger. but anyways YAMAHA SUCKS FOR NOT MAKING LEGENDARY DT 125 ANYMORE. well at least the make DT 50 witch is probably one of the most known 50cc's.

they have a dtx and re and xx and xy and all these shit ones but they dont match the dtr ive got a 2003 one which is probably one of the last ones and i love it too much i dont want to sell it

i like the look of the later models (I have a 2007 DT 125 RE), but there's so many different restrictors on them its annoying

it never was a 125 it was a 124 you bell end and mine revvs to 11000 and produces power all of the way therough its a 2 stroke single cylinder so its not exactly going to match a r6's 16,000 revs which has 4 cylinders is it

Nice sound the full DEP system makes, i have the silencer but i don't have the front pipe yet. Have you reshaped the side panels on your DT?

Yes, I did cut the side panels, and got'em painted white!:)

Also, I have Yamaha YZ 125 front, and rear fenders, Acerbis LED rear light, and TNT Duke headlight!:D
