How are you able to be so close to that tiger, and he doesn't try to attack you?

When you work with them for years you can judge them and kinda tell what they are going to do, Scott is close to the enclosure and Nala the tiger, but if she tried to stick her paw through the 4x4 holes he would have plenty of time to move away. If it was a smaller cat like a bobcat he wouldn't get that close. Thanks for commenting!

Hi, well it's long days doing a variety of things, we don't spend all day cleaning and talking to the animals, you have to wear many hats! We also do tours, feed, projects/landscaping, admin work on the computer etc...etc...We might do a video showing a day in the life of our manager Scott so keep watching!

We will definitely be making a video of the new arrivals, but as they are not on the tour route just yet we are waiting until they are completely settled in and the public are able to come see them on tours!

Yes they have! Freckles, Alex and Cookie are all at Big Cat Rescue, doing well and adjusting to their new enclosures. We are still taking donations as Scott said in the video it will cost us over $20,000 to feed these three cats this year, thanks for your interest!

if you donated 20 AMERICAN dollers...but you actually have a different currency...what happens there?

do you still donate the same amount of money but you pay more because of the currency exchange thing?

If you donate 20 American dollars, it will vary depending on what currency you are talking about?

If say, you donated 20 USD, and you're living in Canada, as I am, the Visa card you use will automatically make the transaction in Canadian funds based on their current rate of exchange. It will ask you to confirm the amount before you make the donation so you will be able to see what you're giving (it will naturally be a different number) - if that's satisfactory, then you can confirm the amount transferred. I hope that helps!

THese are not pets ... not abandoned pets. So We texted but it did not come off our bill and I called our Carrier ( ALtell) and they said it wont wokr on their carrier? I hope thats not happening with other carriers!

Can't the "owner" get in trouble for abandoning an animal in a locked enclosure w/out water and food?

My friend, who's a police officer, said it's against the law to shoot a paint gun at animals in a locked enclosure (it is in Ohio). Why isn't it equally against the law to attempt to starve an animal?

BTW, that liger is cute. I would have named her something besides Freckles; she's too beautiful to be a 'Freckles.'

Yes they can, but only when their health degrades to a certain point will the authorities actually act - because this single person is keeping them fed and watered, the authorities will do NOTHING. It's a disgusting situation.
