RT needs to get the facts straight. I dont think the film was even shot then.. the biggest mistake that they made was the director who is Graham Green and not Lamberto Bava who did the a film with the same title. As far as the techniques used in the film, we cannot fully confirm that.. and perhaps the filmmakers did sensationalize ibit to get the point across, but the film isn't about that.. it is about the PTSD that a soldier/military contractor faces after his return..

It takes time to torture someone. Can't do it in a 30 minute tv show. Physical torture is good for a start and will help to break the victims sanity. Overloading the senses and sleep depravity can break anyone.
