@ometodo1 She just turned 11 and began violin just before 2 years old. Find a really good violin teacher. ;) We're still traveling constantly as a lifestyle & have been to 43 countries on 5 continents now and she is fluent in Spanish and Mandarin. We travel on $23/day pp and the key to that is slow travel. See our blog for more info!
@ThyrmBloodaxe It is actually quite easy to travel and live luxuriously on just $23/day per person and we have been doing this non-stop now for 6 years to 43 countries on 5 continents. I must admit it is a wonderful life...we've been traveling the world non-stop now for 6 years, but slowly of course, to 42 countries on 5 continents..and it has been an awesome experience and an amazing childhood & education for our little girl. It is always spring or summer for us and always Saturday, so life is perfect. Of course like every life, there are some challenges ( like when I broke my arm biking the Danube).

@compadrepig It is difficult to do when one is doing an amateur video in many places. Check out our response video below where she is playing around Paris and you can see how it affects sound quality and it was difficult syncing the song...at that was only a few places. We do these quickly as we roam, so it's much easier to do with a soundtrack for this type of travel video & how it's usually done.

We're in tropical Asia for the winter so she can immerse in a Chinese school here, but will go into China at some point as well. We've been to 39 countries on 5 continents in the last 5 years living large on just 23 dollars a day per person, but new to exploring Asia, so much to see here in the next several winters. We'll be in India & back to Europe soon!

She's 10 now & far advanced from age peers in school work ( plus violin & piano) & is a fluent trilingual/triliterate in Mandarin/Spanish/English. We homeschool the US curric, but she has gone to school in Spain for last 4 winters & now at 10 is youngest in an all Chinese high school in tropical Asia- having a ball this winter. Slow travel rocks! 39 countries on 5 continents so far!

yeah this is a really nice video and everything, but it looks like shes just rubbing the bow up against the violin, like shes not really playing anything. is that why you guys edited the video with placing music over it? I think you should have let us hear how she plays/
@KingdomKidd1 She is playing well, but it is a travel video and she is not a prodigy, nor is this a performance. Too hard to put the sound in for such a video with amateur vid camera. We will put some more videos up soon of her playing.
@violintwilightsaga28 Thanks for the fab comment! We are still traveling on our open ended world tour and now our daughter is 10 and she has been playing violin for 8 years! Congrats on your violin playing too! She takes violin and piano lessons with teachers via webcam on other continents...see that video too. We're in Asia for the winter so she can immerse in her Mandarin, heading to India soon, then back to Europe for summer, USA for fall, Asia again next winter.

Actually we travel the world luxuriously on very little money..only 23 dollars a day per person all included, which allows us to travel the world for much cheaper than living at home, even in expensive places like Europe or Bora Bora. ;) You do not have to be rich to travel or live richly!

The song that is playing is not by Mozart... But, it added a nice touch. I have been playing cello since I was 2, I am 28 and I wish you would have let us hear her play. Too bad :(... Lovely Video though.

@bAkerSaaan YES, she WAS in Germany! ;) We are STILL traveling non-stop ( in Asia at the moment) and now have been to 38 countries on 5 continents on 23 dollars a day per person & Germany was one of the countries!! Our second world traveling montage will come soon!

@johnmalory26 We have been to the US and Australia as a family on our world tour ( 38 countries on 5 continents so far, traveling since our child was 5 and she just turned 10). I have been to Canada & my Grandfather is Canadian so we will get there too. ;)

yeah this is a really nice video and everything, but it looks like shes just rubbing the bow up against the violin, like shes not really playing anything. is that why you guys edited the video with placing music over it? I think you should have let us hear how she plays/

@KingdomKidd1 She is playing well, but it is a travel video and she is not a prodigy, nor is this a performance. Too hard to put the sound in for such a video with amateur vid camera. We will put some more videos up soon of her playing.

@violintwilightsaga28 Thanks for the fab comment! We are still traveling on our open ended world tour and now our daughter is 10 and she has been playing violin for 8 years! Congrats on your violin playing too! She takes violin and piano lessons with teachers via webcam on other continents...see that video too. We're in Asia for the winter so she can immerse in her Mandarin, heading to India soon, then back to Europe for summer, USA for fall, Asia again next winter.

gosh, i wish U were my parent soultraveler3. I love traveling and exploring and learning stuff out side of school, even if it extreme. sadly my parent are not so much of a wild soul like me :(. i;m planning 2 travel more in the future when i got my own job :),, Have a happy time traveling

Yes, we are still traveling! We have traveled the world non-stop as a family for the last 5 years. 38 countries, 5 continents but slow & easy on just 23 dollars a day per person. We are in Asia now, see our latest video of our now 10 year old California girl speaking Chinese ( she is also fluent in Spanish, so you can see those videos too). Still loving it! Actually we travel the world luxuriously on very little money..only 23 dollars a day per person all included, which allows us to travel the world for much cheaper than living at home, even in expensive places like Europe or Bora Bora. ;) You do not have to be rich to travel or live richly!

The song that is playing is not by Mozart... But, it added a nice touch. I have been playing cello since I was 2, I am 28 and I wish you would have let us hear her play. Too bad :(... Lovely Video though.

@gra1997 Not rich, we travel the world non-stop (for the last 5 years now up to 38 countries on 5 continents) on just 23 dollars a day per person..MUCH less than we did living at home. ,,even in expensive places like Bora Bora or Europe. Keep your dreams alive! If there is a will there is a way! ;)
