yes xkr is faster - i got 4.9 for xkr, 6.3 for the elise s. but the "so-called amazing elise" is entry level lotus, so dnt try n say its best 1. they r quick on initial acceleration n corners, not straights. in a straight line lotus would get best start, but xkr would win. not in corners tho. they r designed 2 b fast on british b rds n race tracks n they would nail the jag on em. and beyond the entry level lotus, how bout a 2-eleven? 670kg, 0-60 in 3.8"impressive on road and track" 5 stars(evo).

Actually SSC didn't cheat. The SSC has a/c, 10 speaker stereo, nav system, dvd/cd player, backup camera. It has all the luxuries of a Veyron. Read up on your info. You do not need a W16 to get 1500hp. The Keating is a copy of the Saleen S7 body, Lotus Elise front, and Pagani Zonda rear.

Search Ford GT Twin Turbo in Youtube and you will find lots of 800-1000rwhp GTs privately tuned or Heffners and Hennessey mods. Stage 6 motorsports makes a 1500rwhp GT. Search it on google. Search "How to ADD 300 HP to a FORD GT" "Americans and big engines" This is only a 5.4L.

A Supra will be unreliable. The Evo will be extremely unreliable. A 1000hp Evo is = a 3500hp Z06 for reliability. And the Z06 will destroy the Evo. He liked the Ford GT.
