  • there's another way to make this and is not open the car pack just put an internal antenna removing the plug of the radio and that's it you get an internal antenna.

  • Why buy something for 80 bucks and then take it apart to "attempt" to make it better. Just sink 40 bucks more into your project and get a car head unit with AUX input???? I wish I could get back the 3 minutes and 30 seconds of my life for watching this video:(

  • @gravelandgrain100

I feel bad for people that bought this for 80$

i got it for free at live search club.

some people dont have the option of an Aux

I used this solution for my company vehicle and its been working static free for 1 1/2 yr and going

  • @gravelandgrain100 got mine for 10 bucks

  • @DrummerAON yea that will do fine...mine has been working fine for a year now

  • Thanks for the guide! I've been trying to find one for the V2 for a long time. Worked perfectly with a piece of speaker wire of a random length.

  • I just did this. I soldered a wire 6 or 7ft (which is about 1/2 an FM wavelength) wire directly to the pin that sticks out of the pcb and it worked great. I was able to get a signle inside my house 50 feet away, haven't tried any after. I was also able blast over the most powerful station in a different car 15 feet way. I might cut down the wire to 1/4 wavelenght (.75m) because the one I have is quite long.

  • I got it, all i need now is some rubber bands, a piece of gum and a paper clip
