Favorite childhood cereal. Hard to find west of the Mississippi, but found 1 box at Walmart in San Diego a few months ago. Can be really messy if you use the microwave method, ha ha --- and don't pay close attention. This is like Maypo, only thicker, chocolatey, and better than Maypo. Added butter and brown sugar to taste and you'll be singing along with the freakin' bird.

I only remember the ad with the train in it. It was kind of like a "Soul Train" style commercial, with the train dancing on the tracks: "Coco Wheats -- hooo hoo! -- Coco Wheats -- hoo hoo! Hot 'n Hot 'n breakfast cereal, Coco Wheats..." Those were the words. I don't like this one with the cuckoo.

I ate CoCo Wheats this morning! When I was a kid my grandma would bring us a box whenever she visited us in Tennessee because we couldn't get them down there. Here in Indiana though, we still have them!
