You know what? It's been 16 years, and only now is the Virtual Boy finally becoming obsolete!

What I mean is that the VB was the only true 3D system up until the Nintendo 3DS. Sure, there's been various 3D setups for consoles & PCs since the '80s (ie. Sega Master System 3D glasses), but they were never standard so they don't really count.

Virtual boy had it's share of problems but it did have some neat ideas and a few "pretty good" to "good" games. Im sorry but I'd rather play a VB than most failed and universally disliked systems. The 32x? The N-gage? I mean it wasn't $300-700. I and 50 others never had eye problems. You dont want to play for 2 hrs straight. If your eyes felt wierd then yes. Keep your eyes open in a dark room for a long period of time then turn the lights on. Of course youd have eye strain. ..Wario Land Rocked

Many of you asked why is it red? To have a longer battery life. If it was in color, it would require a few more batteries and not last as long as the Atari Lynx, the Sega Game Gear, the TurboExpress nor the Sega Nomad. The Virtual Boy would of also failed if it was in color.
