  • My word what were they on back then jump up music crazy dancing

    ... sound familiar???

  • I wish I could ad this record to my 78 collection.

  • oh yeah! this is great! just puts a smile on my bored 20 year old face, i have one of their 78s and thought i'd listen to some more of their stuff, glad i did!

  • This was probably written as a send-up of SHE'S THE SWEETHEART OF SIGMA CHI. What a hoot.

  • apparently she was worth the trouble ;)

I totally dig this cut. Harry's all too

    brief solo is simply beautiful.

  • 日本人の私が聴きますと、いかにも

    古きよき時代のアメリカ、を彷彿とさせますね。

  • Reser was such a strong influence on Banjo & plectrum string music in the 20th Century that the Reser Banjo Method (Instuction) Book that was authored by Reser, & published in the 1920's for private instruction use, has continued to be the authoritative method book & is still widely used today to teach Banjo Method, especially plectrum proficiancy to this day - that's how good he was, his style of playing & performing is carried on through his written work. I think Rubank is the publisher.

  • One of my fave Harry Reser cuts.

The too short thus leaving you wanting

more, banjo solo, has such a sweet tone.

  • Good Jazz and of course the Banjo was tops - I think the words would hold true today lol.........

  • Thanks for this lively number. It's just what I need to wake me up after a short trip to West Virginia.

  • Ritmo, ritmo la lalala la lalalala

  • The nice energetic 20's sound with an upbeat young voice (in spite of the indecisive sweatheart).
