  • Its a german brand called 'Tikro'... Sadly, however the company stopped in early 2009... You can see at: tikro(.)info

  • thank you :D

  • Transit and Sprinter look modern ;D

  • They're about 2 years on the market now, just like the VW Crafter which is developed together with the Sprinter. I personally don't understand why it gets a 0.1 lower mark then the Sprinter when it offers adjustable steering wheel as an option and the Mercedes doesn't.

  • Sprinta Kafta Boxda Nice poem:D

  • in fairnes the transit is not the twin wheel 3.500kg one so they need to test that with the rear wheel drive much more stable i know iv owned loads of van i would say it would fair a hole lot better than all of them exsept the stopping test hard to beat the boxer

  • bitte schnell, schnell!!!

  • once again more example of fine machines that we are not getting in the U.S. except for the mercedes/dodge sprinter.

  • They`re not that fine to drive btw. Compared to an Econoline, a Transit drives like a real shitbox. Also build quality is much lower than on the Econonline.

  • He called a Volkswagen a "Favey?"

  • He called it a VW (Vee Wee) :D

  • VW - in german V-Fau, W-Ve. So is like "fau-ve"

  • @ChomuSclavus in german language V sounds like F ...VW = Fau Wé

  • @KubikCv Hi, this is the former Chomu here. Thanks for finally clearing that up.

  • it's the correct german pronunciation of VW

  • @ChomuSclavus in german called V=Fau and W=We

    VW = FauWe :D

  • Adam 200784 Wrote "the transit might if its front whel drive. alko dont make a chassis for rear wheel drive. Merc + voks are rear driven and the tranny might be?" Wrong, Mercedes do indeed manufacture a Sprinter with an Al-Ko Chassis. Trev (Alias Teemyob).

  • The Peugeot (Fiat/Citroën) and Renault are Front wheel drive. Ford, VW, Mercedes Back wheel drive. But ALKO also makes chassis for back wheel drive (Ford). But the models showed here all arn't ALKO chassis...

  • the volkswagen volt crafter is the best

  • Do you know if the motorhomes had a standard or ALKO chassis?

  • @ Caravanuutiset

    Not alko-chasis.

Tikro (is one of the not many) manufactors who doesnt use ALKO-Chassis

  • the transit might if its front whel drive. alko dont make a chassis for rear wheel drive. Merc + voks are rear driven and the tranny might be?

  • The new Sprinter & VW Crafter are the same vans, except for the engines and design of course, so i don't see why only the Sprinter will be the best and not the Crafter also.

  • @ DANNYVW

Its because the Crafter has a more heavy chassis. Whitch has a result that in many country's u need a special 'bigger' drivers-license to drive it. And like u did say the design is different whitch may result in more/less airodynamics...

  • the mercedes sprinter is the best!
