  • wow you made it seem easy but i know it took you long enough to sand it down

  • What size wheels are you using?

  • you're a pro!

  • Nice fix, diggin the single speed.

  • It was a perfectly good bike to begin with.

  • you could finish his off with a pink/red chain..

  • i hope u tightened that cog

  • great build and great edit!

did you use one of those stem-converter?

  • very nice bike man

  • bellisima. Very nice bike, good to see you built it all by yourself. Forza Fixa

  • how much did all that cost

    like minus the frame

  • to strip: about 2hours (handmade)

    to paint: about 40 minutes

  • how long did it take to paint that frame, and how long did the paint have to cure before you put the bike back together?

  • The poor bike.

  • wow...very beautiful bike. must be a great feeling to see a refreshed bike.

  • Great Work Man.

  • te quedo bien la bici compadre ... felicitaciones

  • wise man with front brake

  • this person needs to get a grip

  • wow, beautiful, shame about the bars tho!

  • dope

  • :(...no more quilled stem..

  • beautiful job( in fact it is the best video on a single speed ) although the video seems to need more detail like how did you put tension on your chain without tensioner? can you use a spacer with your new headset? is it possible to use any headset that fits the size? and what about the seat post? and what about the front brake i only use rear brake seems to be the safer one...if you could answer some of my questions i would really appreciate it ..thank you.

  • thank you for compliments...

can you use a spacer with your new headset?

    > it's a traditional headset (threaded)

can you use a spacer with your new headset?

    > it's not indispensable

    what about the seat post?

    > I keep the original

    what about the front brake...

    > I prefer to brake with front-brake because it's more effective and... back wheel is fixed (it's a brake too... more or less)

    keep pedaling!

  • how did you strip the paint? and did you just use regular spray paint, because i heard that chips off very easily.

Im aobut to start building a bike, but im not sure where i can findt all the parts and tools i need, yet.

thanks for the vid though, this will help.

  • I used abrasive paper to strip the paint and regular spray paint (I know a professional painter is better... but it's expensive too)

good luck for your project ;-)

    keep pedaling!

  • ...or you can strip it with industrial strength medal striiper, prime it, then purchase high quality graffiti paint that costs about 10 bucks a can. then clear coat to finish it off

  • Fresh! I like the red chain ring bolts.

  • ..GRANDEEE.. io ora sn alle prese con la ricerca dei pezzi per farmi al fixa... ormai sn fissata!!!

  • 1. what kind of headset is that??

    2. what was that marking you were pointing out on the steer tube??

    3. what rear hub did you use?

    sweet ride!

  • 1. the head set is made by a little italian company

    2. don't understand the question

    3. rear hub is an old Campagnolo pista

    keep pedaling! ;-)

  • nice!

right at 0:42 theres a close up on the fork.

  • no toe clips or straps? damn, that would be pretty crazy to ride that confidently. Beautiful bike though.

  • good observation... 2 week ago I mounted the clips, now is another way of pedaling!

  • i wish it was that eaasy to make one.

  • not difficult, don't worry ;)

  • i have a frame but cant fuckin take the cranks offf so ima try and saw that shit offf, plusss i cant afford back hubs,oh and i'm only 14,hahahahah.people say its too dangerious for me.i dont care i just wanna ride.

  • Dentrezz, you need a crank puller for to remove the cranks.

If you cant afford a fixed wheel, just spin on a freewheel and go single speed until you have the notes for a fixed hub.

Building bikes really is "that easy", you just need to to familiarize yourself with the humble bicycle

  • thx for the advice people.

  • this is a great build congrats, what is the name of the song?

  • thank you for congrat and sorry because I don't have the title... :(

  • Can you tell me what handle bar that is. i wanna replace mines. I have a pista and want to know if it will fit. i know little about bikes but want those exact handle bars.

  • handle bar is by Ritchey

  • What's wrong with the quill stem thought?

  • nice

  • How much did all the new parts cost, all together?

  • track-hub was a gift from a mechanic

stem + handlebar etc (all things I won when I ride in MTB years ago)

    rear wheel + chain = 40 euro

    color spray = 8 euro

  • That was a cool as video. Fixies are such cool toys. Thanks for posting.

  • Nice video!!

  • i have those same cranks on my fixie. nice ride.

  • great video. that frame has really tight geometry for a conversion,

    great find and build

  • im still on my first bike nd im wondering if u gotta strip all the paint before u paint it

  • yes, U got to strip as best as U can all parts

  • thanks man

  • Turned out pretty nice!

  • nice bike just the onlhing i dislike is the bars should have put some small risers on it

  • AHHHHHH man THE BEST!!!!! beautifullllll! huhuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow great video thanks

    nice fixie aswell

  • cool vid

  • MITICO ALEEEEEEEEE

  • Grandeeeee! 3 Minuti di essenza di fissa!! Ottimo Lavoro (sia Meccaniko che Multimediale) ;) Complimenti Davvero! CarlO!

  • how did you do with the chain tension? did you use the excentlic hub?

  • I used a standard old track-hub by Campagnolo...

the tension is easy to do because it's a old frame with orizontal place where to insert the back wheel

  • bella, anke la musica
