We can't give anything to God because he already owns it all! Ownership is an illusion. It's nothing more than a trade system that Man has made to function in a material world. While there is nothing wrong with ownership and trade, these concepts can become illusions when considering our shared experience, our shared existence, and our absolute worth to the almighty. The Universe was not made for us to own, it was made for us to learn, and learn ONLY ONE THING..., LOVE!

So inspirational. We are truly Love by a Loving Lord, and we are wonderfully and fearfully made. We are loved by Jesus our Lord and Savior and God Almighty our Heavenly Father. Praise Jesus every minute of everyday! He loves us more than we will ever know more than we can ever think of. When I look at how amazing God's creation is, how amazing the stars, the sunsrise and sunset, the oceans, the sky, all of it is...I realise that God is truely the greatest artist in the world. And then I remember that when He created it, He said it was good. But when He created us, He said he was very pleased. God, our farther and saviour, is more pleased with us than the universe. To Him, we are more amazing than the sun, the galaxies, the detail in plants. Because He loves us.

Interesting... however I don't believe it changes anything.  C. S. Lewis stated, "agape as describing the highest level of love known to humanity—a selfless love, a love that was passionately committed to the well-being of the other." You can't possibly have that kind of love for others and not love yourself. If you try hard and are dedicated to do what is best for others without love it's just something you're working at. I'm not perfect, but I am a child of God. He loves me!

He loves us. We love Him. If we are to live by His example we are to love our neighbor as ourselves... doesn't that indicate that we should love ourselves? ... not in an egotistical way, but as we are the temple of the living God and He lives in us, aren't we to love ourselves because we are His creation, we belong to Him and if He has deemed us worthy of His love and we are to love our neighbor as ourselves.
