@jystyle tbh this is a lot more realistic than typical anime. It's actually pretty cool that they have that, because it really shows. Though to be honest, mixed fighters tend to have more respect for traditional martial arts than most people might believe.

They have occasional fictional parts, like when the guy lifts up the vending machine. Honestly, I'm happy to see some realistic anime out there for once

@jystyle actually it's a manga and it's called "Tekken no tough" and the manga that follows after is called "tough" also there is a kind of otton gaiden about kiichi's father which is actually called "otton" so this anime has a strong basis :) (sorry for my english)

Hey, I could tell right at the beginning that Chiba was based on Antonio Inoki, founder of the New Japan Pro Wrestling and "Strong" Style discipline. Shin Nihon Puroresu is the strongest martial art in the world. Sorry, I had to be geeky about this. It's just that I LOVE martial arts anime, pro wrestling and MMA.
