Everyone doesn't die at the end. If you watch past the credits, you can hear an audio recording. There are videos of YouTube with the audio recording saying that they are alive and they survived. Go look em up if you don't believe me.
imo there shouldnt be another movie, because itll have another cliffhanger at the end too. sometimes u just gotta let it be, move on, and watch another movie. cloverfield was a great movie, and possibly started a new genre. but if there was another movie about cloverfield then it should be the origin or the end of the monster, possibly both? I believe a good sequal should be a soldier with a mounted camera on his helmet that records what happened after Cloverfield 1. Probably a good plot would be that they are sent in to find survivors, maybe a bigger monster plus the first one swoops in and destroys everything again, then who knows, heads toward a different state. Thats my opinion.

there are so many theories for this movie its hard to go with any of them or know whats accurate and whats not (if any of them even are) and even tho the theory of there being 2 monsters has been clarified not to be true i find it to be an interesting and logical theory being that the one that kills hud seems to bite him in half or pick him up with its mouth and drop him, while the one destroying the city seems (to me) far too big to to be capable of something like this.

there are so many theories for this movie its hard to go with any of them or know whats accurate and whats not (if any of them even are) and even tho the theory of there being 2 monsters has been clarified not to be true i find it to be an interesting and logical theory being that the one that kills hud seems to bite him in half or pick him up with its mouth and drop him, while the one destroying the city seems (to me) far too big to to be capable of something like this.

The mother died when it was in japan by getting shot with a rocket in the eye. Then the last part it shows eggs.

Dude there is only one monster cause jj abrams said and he wrote the movie. Its just a monster sleeping and living for thousands of years underwater till slusho and the satellite woke it up. The secret ingrediant for slusho is deep under water where clover sleeps. Idk y the satellite fell from space when clover wasnt even from space.
