@MrPolishpilot i have more don`t worry since this vid i have changed all my cockpit and added a 47 lcd TV you should check my channel for details, tutorials and other vids. Thanks for watching
@piromoretta awesome cockpit, I would really recommend getting the newest mac monitor with led lighting but switching the software to microsoft. It looks great (just a recommendation) but still great work.
@discojockey007 Hi out there. Regarding the instruments screen, with the three displays inside a monitor, what software are you using for this purpose? Great work!
@vcallejo i`m not useing a software it`s just the 2D normal panel but this vid is old.For my new cockpit layout i`m useing FS Panel Studio with it i can edit/create a 2d panel for my needs and for every plane since FXPand has a lot of bugs.
Just wanted to let you know I released my new DK-1 Kotori which is a little similar to your design here. Also released is my general aviation CS-1 Stallion. Check them both out on my website!
Looks good for piecing it all together one part at a time. Have you checked out any of my videos yet. My cockpit is also low budjet and is made of only 3 sheets of plywood.
@Stackacracka they are mounted into the wood. You just cut the wood and screw it in.After that i added a plastic panel on top of it so you can easy cut for the second monitor if you have one.
@Stackacracka Hey, if you like cockpit building you should check out some of my videos. I use virtual panels exclusively and still use alot of the same hardware that piromoretta uses.
Heey Piromeretta! I wanna try to set me flaps in the saitek yoke profile editor?! it doesnt work.....can you please send you profile to me? i had another question, how do you control your trim wheel? Do you do that via your yoke? Buttons A1 and A2? That ones are me standard keys but i wanna know how you did it. I dont know if the sidepanel is gonna work because there are some issues with switches and repeating keys.....damnit :S
@tntgamerdotnl i never used the saitek profiler to config the flaps.I did that inside FSX it`s the same story as the rudders. As for the trim i control it with my saitek autopilot it has a trim wheel.Since if you don`t have it you can control that even with the mouse wheel.About you key conflict FSX has an advantage that you can assign a command to 1 or more key(s).Easy do it like i did with the keeboards. On 2 keys you can assing up to 3 commands.Check rogerdogeraviation vids you will learn how.
@piromoretta the funny thing is that i made a simular idea with 2 keyboards before i ever heard from roger dodger. The things he do are great but i have 2 problems with his site: 1: he say it is low budget, only the idea will cost you some $30! i dont call that cheap, also in the Netherlands building with wood is much cheaper than PVC because the L shape things ( i dont know the name) are €5 a part! I had got a other idea, i gonna look if that is possible because it is better! bye, thomas
@SimSamurai that would be interesting to check out.I`m allways looking around for new ideas because in the future i want to rebuild mine.do you have a site, blog or something?
@piromoretta Yes, my site can be found by visiting my channel and look for the web link. YouTube doesn't allow web addresses to be posted in comments but I'll try:
It is simsamurai-dot-net! Hope you like my products!
@Stackacracka it`s about H-1,50m ,L-1,30m more or less.In front of my cabin it`s simple desk.Nobody noticed that this thing has wheels and can be removed when i`m not playng.
Hey, great setup, could you tell me the size of your main panel, the one with the mulit panel and switch panels integrate all the way down to the footwells. It is really interesting and a great setup.
Ok so im looking at the screen, three seconds into the film, and I want to know what are the measurements of your main panel, the one that the mulit, and switch panels are centered in, and the width and the size of the footwells. Also generally how big is your cockpit?
Can you tell me how i need to install me saitek rudders? I have the correct software and drivers and i have som settings in FSX but now the plane is constantly braking....Do you know what the problem is?
@tntgamerdotnl it`s not a problem you only need to config them inside FSX controls menu.Open FSX go to seettings/controls/calibration select the rudders in control type click advance controls and adjust the sensitivity of your rudders. It only takes a few minutes of testing until you will get it right. When i got my rudders i thought i had a problem to :)
@piromoretta I have me rudders for a week so i think i have the newest version of the software and the driver. Also i got the problem that english software doenst work for me saitek products. I need to get the software form the US. Its weird but only then it will work!? I will post a few photos on me own site tntgamerDOTnl. If you look there over a few hours you see me auto pilot panel!
@piromoretta Yeah, me fsx detect it, and the rudder right and left works oke but if i set on the breaks then i get a red screen left under screen with ''differential braks'' and me plan is constatly braking, if i push me toe braks the break releases. But i gonna try the things that you said. By the way, you luck with your free pedals! lol!
@MrJulesPT yes they work on the same PC.I have 3 keeboards connected. If you want to learn how to make a keeboard like that check "rogerdodgeraviation" vids.At first when i built my cockpit i only had 2 keeboards and a joystic. Thanks for watching!
I really like your throttle quadrant...very impressive what you did with two Saitek units. Did you make the spoiler and flap handles by hand?? Very nice.
@rogerdodgeraviation Yes i made the spoiler and flap handles out of wood.I`m glad you like it.Watching your vids was a great inspiration for me.Thanks for watching
Do you have a Ipad? I gonna build some overhead panels for touchbuddy that you can use for the ipad. So if you need one for a plane tell me, i make them for a small price ;)
can i say your cockpit is fucking awesome! I realy like it! Everything you need is there! May you can make a blog on blogspot or some were you can make a ''how to build this cockpit''. I think many people would build a cockpit like you because everything what you need is in it!
@PUA687 i made the spoilers and flaps. The throttle handles are from Saitek i only painted them with white and ad the numbers. Thanks for waching i`m glad you like it

how many lcd's did you use
lacosto 1 year ago
@lacosto Only 2lcd.1 is the main monitor and the 2nd it`s masked behind a wood panel so it gives you the impression that there are many more.
