Fantastic Otis song by EWWT live at the Fillmore : Jerry Lacroix sounds a bit like Otis : a real soul man, and Rick Derringer on guitar is amazing. Love that song since the record was on sale ! Thanks for the real kick in the ass !
With Jerry La Croix on vocal , Bobby Ramirez on drum wow with this old rhythm and blues classic "Turn on Your Love Light. Please Listen as the horns blast out that classic riff
grew up with jerry lacroix when he was with the boogie kings and played the bamboo hut in galveston and the big oaks in vinton, la . wow stage presence to die for , great voice, sexy guy, fun guy
I've listened to about a dozen covers of this song in the last hour, and except for the Ready Set go version by Otis, this is the best so far. very, very nice.
I forgot Tom Jones does a great version. That guy can sing anything. Great vocals, band, and back up singers. You can't beat the 60s soul bands. Sam & Dave, the Chambers Brothers, Oatis, Wilson Picket, Mitch Rider etc.
I love that Wayne Cocran version in "CC Ryder". Although Wayne was a bit corny looking and didn't have great vocals. Oatis's videos are hot but the lack of color hurts the quality. I love the way White Trash end their songs almost in an explosion.
All bow with respect, to the greatest performance of the greatest R&B song ever created.....It's 4 minutes of good hard sex with a fantastic climax at the end. This has been my absolue favorite song for 30 years..or is it 40 ?

I had the honor of playing sax with Jerry--one of the great voices of that era.

@sargoth37 Have you seen Tom Jones live? He still puts on a Great Show!!!

I saw him in the 1990s. He was good but didn't really extend himself at that show.
