right hand drive or left hand drive vehicles, which side of the car all of your instruments and controls are such as your steering wheel, gauges, shifter, e-brake, pedals, etc.

The japanese models (pretty much all of them) are right hand drive because the roadways and highways in Japan the directions are reversed, going traffic is on the left and passing traffic is on the right.

Thats why it's difficult to drive a right hand drive car on the right side of the road.

On the PC version it is free with the upgrade pack, then you have to buy it in game (not real money). I think it costs on the Xbox version though.
