Very nice work, great animation. The ending was a nice touch, with the lamb sliding closer. I'm not sure about the bible quote, it felt a bit contrived and out of place; the beautiful sunset and serene landscape was enough. Better to enjoy the wonders of our universe without ascribing them to mythological creation.

I used Maya by the way, I haven't heard of Blender... hopefully you're not mixing all skills though like the name says. I highly suggest focusing on one skillset and then branching off when you feel comfortable with it. I've experienced that studios are willing to teach you other areas if you show strength in at least one.

This was VERY good. Disney is not sufficient to describe but it is more related to the quality in content and appearance to that of Pixar. Quality story is key. You managed to tell a really great story. I enjoyed the music rather than language - it said more. Keep it up.

in this case since he stated he just finished Animationmentor, his short film was more of a practice of animation for him, to get better. story or not. when clients look at this, they will be looking at all the animations before they think about the story.

Focusing on good character animation is great when you're making an animation reel, not when you make a short film.
Short film = story. When the story's absent it's hard to call it a short film, let alone calling it a good one.
Also, I must add that I was taken aback by his evangelical stuff. The world is pretty so let's love God? what the hell...
