THAT port elizabeth test is one of best i have seen.....alongwith Chennai Ind v Aus 2001 , Chennai IND v PAK 1999, Edgbaston Eng v Aus 2005 & of course Bridgetown WI v AUS 1999.

Gillespie was very quick upto 2001/02. He later settled to a good line and length bowler with a great outswinger.

I have seen matches where Dizzy was better than McGrath and beating the bat much more but never got the edges coz he moved it too much.

yes dude...there was a time when i DID think that Dizzy was better than Pigeon. But probably he missed more than he hit. & McG was better at staying longer which he did.

i want Port Elizabeth Test highlights from the same test series. What a match it was....Dizzy, Pigeon & in the end it was Mark Waugh....cricket at its best

Yea, those were the days before Foxsports Aus. Since the cricket season ended in Aus. Channel 9 had contractual obligations to cover the rugby & AFL matches. So, Ch7 stepped up & covered the cricket from SA.

Nowadays, I think D Cometti commentates on AFL /rugby and Drew Morphett covers sport on ABC radio. Pls. confirm since I am not Aussie. Just got info. from my frineds in Aus. Thanks!
