Go to the store, and buy a copy of the qu'ran. Try and get a translation of the Arabic qu'ran, which is the most correct qu'ran. You could probably pick one up in a used book store for $2.00. Do this, and then they cannot lie to you about what the qu'ran says.

The Quran cannot be completely correctly translated into any language. It is the same translating even from spanish to english. There is not always a specific word that matches another word in meaning. The True Quran is written in Arabic but converts can get the basic meaning in their spoken language. There is only ONE Islam though some have been separated by slightly different believes like Christians have. The difference is that every Muslim believes the same thing.
